Apparently running on Unreal Engine 4, the game will feature 2-versus-2 battles, and the Infinity Stones will play a key role in influencing how battles play out. It will include a “cinematic story experience,” as well as a variety of accessible single player modes, including an Arcade mode. It’s bound for PlayStation 4, Steam and Xbox One. That’s not enough, Marvel fans? How about Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 returning to the PlayStation Store? It will apparently become available for download today. It will also be coming to PC and Xbox One in March 2017.
Finally. And for the first time ever in the series, it is coming to Steam. I am so excited. edit a gameplay trailer has popped up
Obviously its just a teaser but those punch effects sounded perfect
I'm not sure how I feel about them going for a movie-esque artstyle this time as opposed to the comic book cel-likeartstyle of UMvC3 as I really enjoyed that cartoonish flair, but at least it seems like it will be interesting. Looking forward to the gameplay later to see how they've changed it from 3 to I.
its kinda cartoony in its own artstyle, and I like it

I still think that the game looks fairly stylized, just in a more western kinda way as opposed to UMvC3.
Fuck me sideways, they finally put X in a game.
Now I can erase this from the list of "games that are possible to come out but might not do so".
Looking forwards to seeing the gameplay later. Though the inclusion of Infinity Stones effecting gameplay is giving off a SFxT gems vibe and thats a little unsettling to me.

If Frank West dressed up as Mega Man can happen in UMvC3, I wanna see Bad Box Art Mega Man make a cameo in MvC Infinite.
Im honestly more hype for the Umvc3 port, the new game doesnt look great honestly. Didnt expect it to considering how bad Capcom fighting games have been since SFxT Speaking of this game kinda just looks like SFxT with MCU only which... Sounds pretty bad honestly. Not excited for 2v2 and gems coming back and the loss of all of the Xmen and stuff
They really need to rerelease the dlc for PS3 and Xbox 360

However, with how 5 is faring, I've lost trust with capcom again :v:

Gems being the biggest and most obvious example of the stuff that gave xT its reputation. Considering that we're getting gems v2 rebranded as infinity stones this time around I'm not too optimistic. It's been what, 5 years since Capcom has made a half-decent fighting game? And thats if you count UMvC3 which only came after a pretty fucked vanilla
Dont get to excited folks, the Marvel half is essentially guaranteed to be butchered for movie synergy.
Fuck yeah, finally a chance to play UMVC3 on PC.
Dont get to excited folks, the Marvel half is essentially guaranteed to be butchered for movie synergy.
And that's the end of the world why? I mean yeah it's going to be a shame (REALLY BIG SHAME) if they actually do cut all the xmen because didney, But the gameplay will still be pretty good if 3 is anything to go by.

[editline]3rd December 2016[/editline] Say goodbye to Sentinel, Doom, Magneto, Deadpool, X-23, Wolverine, Phoenix, Storm, Super Skrull, and any hopes of Colossus, Cable, Cyclops, Gambit, Silver Surfer, or the Fantastic Four.

Except for Sentinel, Fuck Sentinel.

Besides, cuts happen in many different fighting games for many different reasons. Yeah, people are always going to be upset over their favorite character not being in the next game, but, if the next game is still enjoyable, they might still enjoy it.
Man How great would it be to have fucking Venom back?
Can we get MvC2 while they're at it?
Aren't the Marvel character game rights a separate deal from the movie rights? That's pretty much why Activision published almost every single Marvel game for the past several years or so. If the X Men do end up getting axed from Infinity, they're still in UMvC3...
Normally yes, but It seems like MvC Infinite is supposed to be a tie-in to the MCU. It doesn't make sense to include the X-men when they haven't been introduced in the MCU yet.
Man How great would it be to have fucking Venom back?
Marvel Studios has Spiderman. I don't think it'll be hard to get Venom back. I loved having Venom since I played him in MvC.
