What happened to the Jew Hunter in Inglorious Basterds?

Did they let him live with the mark of shame on his forehead, or kill him and leave the corpse for the Nazis to discover?

Figure it out
They would have left him with the swastika scar to force him to live with the guilt of killing thousands of JEWS.
He deserved to DIE.
I do not want fucking cream
They carved a swastika in his head, then et him go to the allies who most likely granted him his request.
He lived.
I was hoping through the whole movie the Jew Hunter and the Bear Jew would have a one on one clash.
I'm guessing he lived in the USA, but had that swastika scar for the rest of his days.
He got to live in the lap of luxury like he was promised, but he gots the scar.
Personally, I found the "good guys" to be in many cases more inhumane and monstrous then the Germans in that movie.
What's with all the Tarantino film question threads?
Dat Bear Jew
They let him live. He said that they needed him probably a minute before he carved the swastika in his forehead.
