I'd agree.
But lately I've been on a really intense kick of ambiance, braindance and classic rock.
So Aphex Twin, Autechre, The Kinks, and The Police (if you could call The Police classic rock).
I've always like Punk Rock, in general. Most subgenres, too.
Black Metal, Folk/Neofolk, Post-Rock and most Punk.
Metal - particularly stoner, sludge, and doom. Southern rock as well.
I have to much of a broad taste. Anything that sounds good really.
Mostly anything between hardcore music and extreme metal. Although I'll listen to anything if I think it's a good song.
The later half of the classical era. From around Chopin to Mahler (Romantic).
Alternative Rock
70's Progressive Rock, Classical Impressionism.
Alt Rock, Folk Rock, and Classic Rock.
Hip hop, rap, some rock.
Can't go wrong with some good rock
Baroque, romantic, and later classical from ye olde days as well as soundtracks from the modern period.
Mainly Thrash Metal, although some of my favorite bands have nothing to do with this subgenre.
Punk, Hip-hop, Rock, House.
Others too, but those mainly
Mine changes every few weeks, slowly.
Right now I'm enjoying lots of Progressive Rock, Classic Rock, and Grunge
