Now before you bash the show for being based around religion you should know that it isn't pro or anti religion, its just an animated sitcom.

God, the Devil and Bob is an animated sitcom which premiered on NBC on March 9, 2000 and ended on March 28, 2000, leaving nine episodes unaired. As of January 8, 2011, the remaining unaired episodes are premiering on Cartoon Network's late night programing block, Adult Swim.
God, the Devil and Bob was canceled in the United States after the first four episodes aired on NBC (although the entire season of 13 episodes was shown overseas), after network executives received an alarming number of complaints about its potentially offensive religious material.
The series was based on God (voiced by James Garner) and the Devil (voiced by Alan Cumming) making a bet over the fate of the world. God wants to wipe humanity off the face of the planet and start over, but He realizes that He's "not that kind of God." The devil gets to choose one person, and if that person does not prove they have made the world a better place, God will destroy the world. The devil chooses Bob Alman (voiced by French Stewart), a beer-drinking, porno-watching auto plant worker from the suburbs of Detroit who, when asked to save humanity from complete annihilation, asks "What's in it for me?"

I saw in on Adult Swim a couple times and I would say it isn't a bad show. Not my favorite in the world, but has a good couple of episodes.
I've seen it a few times too, it's pretty good but nothing special honestly. A few of the jokes have made me laugh which is an accomplishment with most shows that air nowadays .

Ha, I was watching the youtube vids of the first episode OP posted and I immediately recognized Bart's VA voicing the daughter in part 2.
I remember my religion teacher up in Canada introducing the show to the class. I actually like it quite a bit. I like the premise if not anything else. I think the show had some great potential.
Pretty fun show, but not really hilarious.
I see the commercials all the time while watching the reruns of KOTH.
I watched it once, I didn't find it that funny.

If your religon teacher actually liked it and wasnt "OFFENDED" by it he/she is awesome.
its stupid, just like above user's avatar.
Someone gave the DVD set of this show to one of my parents as a gift and they threw it in the trash after like 1 episode because they disliked it so much.
