Oh, right! .. I did know that the Norwegian police don't carry guns and such. I've been to Norway many times, and plan to emigrate there once I finish my studies so I can marry the love of my life who lives there.

it truly is a problem for us norwegians. my mom was taken by the wind and we never heard from her again. my father was nearly taken this evening, but we managed to get him back into the house before it was too late
Ha this seems like fun. The only time we would get winds like that here is either in a tornado or hurricane. Plus the wind would probably damage houses and make trees fall over and shit, which [B]isn't[/B] fun.

They don't carry weapons unless they need to, but a lot of cruisers transport Glocks and some also bring AR/MP5s just in case.
But the carry-everywhere policy in the US and other countries is unwanted, as police noticed it alienates everyone.
Since the police wear stab-proof vests they would also rather end up in a fight than to have their gun taken from them.
