I've seen quite a few people comment on how to make automatic doors, seen them in the past on DarkRP servers and people wondering how to make them. So heres how using E2; you can also make one using wiremod but i haven't covered this yet.

Are there still DarkRP servers that allow E2...? Time to get creative again. Automated casinos, gunshops, whatnot. Sucks that most servers have it disabled because of trolls.
It's possible to do it without any wiring at all, just E2 code and 1 wire between a fading door and a single output for the E2. Then use chat commands to allow people to control it and findInSphere to search for people close to the E2 / door.

Its due to the amount that people abused E2 on servers; there was even a script that could force people to drop money involuntarily!
I currently own a DarkRP server (currently in development) where you can use E2 on the servers but it is strict rules for obvious reasons.

Yeah, I know people have been abusing it, I've tried to do similar things in the past to see how I could restrict it on my own server back when I still had one. Either way, you can disable the complete Holo library, propcore and some other features, and you won't be able to abuse anything anymore really.

I don't actually know how to do that; if i did then i would put that on my server. At the moment it's £3 to get "Supporter" status so you can then use E2; and then there's strict rules in place to stop people from abusing it

I think it would be quite fun to have on a server because then you could see what other people create and how creative they are.

I do agree; its just rules are needed to stop people exploiting it
