Got to prepare my body for this.
I love CD projekt red, such a respectable company.
I got an email about this. Unfortunately I can't afford to go.
The hunt is about to begin? So you hunt the wild hunt?
Probably unlikely but I hope we'll also got some cyberpunk news.
Kinda intrigued about what the GoG announcement will be. Possibly linux? Pre-loading? The regional pricing that they scrapped with the exception of a few games coming out soon?

Pretty sure he's going South to the capital or something while all of that shit is happening up north.
Witcher isn't my thing, but man am I waiting for Cyberpunk 2077

witcher 3 will probably be the first truly "next gen" game imo
cd projekt is one of the few game developers i have absolutely faith in to deliver a game meeting its expectations

Fun fact, Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be set in the modern times when it actually releases.

I guess you haven't played the games so here's a lore reply. Wild Hunt is a huge army of evil elves from another dimesion who enter Geralt's realm sometimes (I can't remember how much time has to pass between each visit). In TW2 we got hints the Hunt might return and in TW3 they have indeed arrived. So yeah, the Hunt is about to begin.

You receive a nice discount on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt if you own Witcher 1 and/or Witcher 2.
GOG Galaxy sounds awesome.
For those of you who missed the stream:
Standard edition (If you buy from a store or from the witcher website) gets you The Map, soundtrack, series-catchup, and stickers.
The limited edition comes with all of that AND a statue.
Then there's the digital edition: A 200 page artbook, BTS videos, and a game map. GoG gets you the extended soundtrack, wallpapers and artwork, the witcher comics, 2 beta keys for the witcher adventure game and a copy of neverwinter nights. You'll also be able to pre-load it closer to launch.
The game is $44 (20% discount if you own both witcher games) but is also under the regional pricing system. If the game costs more than that in your country, GoG will give you vouchers to spend there. This apparently applies to ANY version on PC, including retail.
The game will have NO DLC.
GoG Galaxy is an optional client. It allows cross-play with steam owners (presumably for Cyberpunk 2077), automatic updates, and achievements. It's still a DRM free client though.
The "Fair Price" thing seems kind of stupid. They charge non-Americans more and in turn give us some old games we might not even want. Why not just charge us the same price as Americans? GOG and Witcher are made by the same company AFAIK.
