fantastic, at least three robotic arms at work - the two manipulating projection screens and the camera bot, then there's idk how many projectors, all perfectly set up so that the projected perspectives match the intended 3D render perfectly
Good choreography, but then what?
It's more of showing off their camera system. They build the pneumatic arms that hold the camera; it's really cool because all you have to do is recreate the workspace in maya / animate a camera path and the arm does the rest. Here's a good example [editline]26th September 2013[/editline] The music is by Keith Ruggiero if anyone was wondering, also I found a technical breakdown on this guy's site http://work.gmunk.com/BOX-DEMO/
Fucking incredible.
Uh... hey... Broadway? You see this? You should buy stuff like this for your plays, and sensationalize the fuck out of them. Watching amazing special effects in movies is one thing, but it's another entirely to have those amazing effects right in front of your like you could touch them.
if I understand it right, it's like reverse motion tracking.
So does this work from other perspectives other than the one the camera is watching from?
thought the company website would have something about 3d projectingon noep! lol only cameras!

It would be really impressive for about five people who are sitting in the right place and shit for the other hundreds of people.
Imagine creating a UI or something for this. Coolest HQ/conference room ever. [editline]27th September 2013[/editline] Also, never have I ever seen such crisp quality on a projection.
