Illinois State Representative Mike Bost lost his cool on the House floor, screaming that Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for their handling of pension reform.
He joined Fox and Friends Wednesday morning to detail exactly what got him so fired up, saying that a 290-page bill was brought before him yesterday morning. He said that the bill shifts the burden of the state’s $83 billion worth of unfunded pension liabilities to taxpayers, “instead of taking care of the real issue which is trying to reform the system so that it works sensibly and also meets its obligations.”
Ah gotta love my state, such humility, such kind words for their fellow man.

Illinois is a great place to live, especially when it contains 2 of the most dangerous cities in the US (one of which I live in)
Ahahaa, I'm from Chicago, there has been many books written about how the Daley family is linked with the mafia. It's, politically, the most corrupt place in America.
Re-election: confirmed.
I don't know the situation with pensions in Illinois, but here in Michigan, it's shit.
There are signs in all of the teacher's departments in my high school about this bill, I wonder what those affected will do if this passes.
And here I was thinking that most politicians are completely apathetic about the state of the country and only parrot partisan politics to get themselves re-elected. This guy seems genuinely upset.

We need more politicians like him
Holy fucking shit.
I wasn't expecting him to explode like that, usually when a politician goes "ballistic" it just means they banged the table and waved their finger a little harder than usual.
Everyone around him looks completely bored.

Ok then.
Let's hear some ideas.
This guy is awesome

Because everyone around him were probably forced into law school by their parents.

Aurora is Chicago.
At least to me.
I went to Chicago once. My friend got called jailbait right as she got off the bus by some interesting looking people.

Unfortunately so

It's just not the reaction I'd expect from someone next to a guy who's going ballistic.
We need more politicians like him, not afraid to say what's what.
Chicago is the best city. No corruption at all.
I'll pay you if you agree.
About time someone lost their shit over the sheer amount of ridiculousness that goes on in US politics. It's both parties being assholes to each other, so nothing gets done.

I am from Chicago and live near it, and this is 100% true
(now where is my money?)

That's not what he's getting angry over, and this is a state issue, but OK.
In the late 70s, Illinois dug a hole to use as a toilet.
In the early 80s, Illinois had a diarrhea attack.
In the early 90s, Illinois slipped and fell face first into said hole, and died.
Yeah, Chicago's pretty damn corrupt, any one from Plainfield in here? Or am I the only FPer in this godforsaken chunk of Illinois?

Plainfield is ever closer to the herpes infested butthole of Illinois, Chicago.
Rockford is the septic wound located on the improperly circumcised penis.
