• Freestanding Handstand Push-Ups: What they are and how to do them!

Hey fellow facepunchers, Some of you might remember me as that dude who did popping and locking and other dance styles. Some of you might remember me as the guy who did bodyweight fitness stuff. Some of you might even remember me from my previous tutorial: the front lever. Yesterday I finally finished this tutorial after working on it for 3 months. I wasn't sure whether I should post it here since most of you won't find it interesting. However, since all the other videos were so well received I thought I'd just post it and see what happens. The tutorial itself is extremely long, 20 minutes. It is for this reason why I tried to keep it as entertaining as I possibly could. Anyway, here is the tutorial: I hope it's at least entertaining if not educative!
I can't wait until everyone thinks i'm hardboiled and cool
Fantastic tutorial man! I've been doing handstands ever since I was a very young lad. I applied all of the form techniques and completed a freestanding handstand push-up successfully on my 2nd attempt!

That's really impressive to get it that fast! I guess the skill work works haha!
I've been trying to do these for a while, turns out I just didn't know how to approach it the right way. I always would just keep a handstand and be confused for a while until I tried and lost balance. But now I can do it flawlessly! Thanks!

I immediately started practicing after watching the video. I do a lot of push-ups and variations in my regular workout but this shit was on another level. I had to do some serious stretching in order to be able to get those steep angled declined pike push-ups down. Really, getting out of the frog stand was kinda cool and being able to hold it still feels kinda weird. Extending the legs kinda works but I can't hold it very well so I'm not quite at stage 3 of your workout plan yet, but I'm slowly crawling my way up there [img_thumb]http://s16.postimg.org/khlps847p/vlcsnap_2015_10_18_23h01m39s482.png[/img_thumb][img_thumb]http://s16.postimg.org/crjj0tr9x/vlcsnap_2015_10_27_20h38m14s990.png[/img_thumb] Progress is sort of slow, considering that I started out around the creation of this thread but I gotta thank you for getting me motivated to try something new in my workout
