Hi guys, I have a problem.

This is my cat, "Socks". He is one of the most polite cats
you will ever meet.
But I cannot say the same for my second cat.

I've been having increasing problems with him recently.
One night at approximatley 01:36am, Thursday. He came in late.
I'd assumed he'd been out with his friends. I had guests in the house
and asked if he'd like to come in the living room for a chat. He
stared at me pensively before saying nothing and retreating upstairs
to his room. This was one of many occurences.
A more recent confrontation happened at 13:43pm Friday. He had been oversleeping and missed the school bus.
I said to myself, "It's fine though, it's only fridays so it's okay I guess".
So then later on in the day, I was going to see Dinner for Schmucks but my friend could not come because
something came up, so I asked James if he wanted to come to the movies with me. Once again, he said nothing.
This is becoming an increasing problem, actually today I've had an argument with him. I ended up kicking him in the face.
I thought I should have felt bad about it. But my feelings were apathetic. It was 10:24pm, and he was sitting upstairs
smoking weed while listening to Rammstein at top volume

I genuinely care about him. But it's progressively becoming harder to handle him.

TL;DR: My cat is out of control and anti-social, won't speak to me. Need help.
I don't want advice like "Hurr, maybe you should suk his dik!"
because as you can see it is a serious matter.
