Certain videos on the site now give you the option to watch them in VHS mode, bringing all the fun of static and fuzz to your modern viewing experience.
I was wondering what that was. Does anyone else still have all their old VCRs?
Does anyone else still have all their old VCRs?
I still have mine, but I recently replaced it with a HD PVR.
I can't find any videos that have it.
I was wondering what that was. Does anyone else still have all their old VCRs?
Fuck yeah, still got a VCR player hooked up.
I can't find any videos that have it.
Try looking at videos from authors that aren't partnered would be my current guess. Seems that it doesn't appear on videos that have been hit by their Content ID system as well (shows artist info in description).
Here's one with it.
I can't find any videos that have it.
Any videos that have copyrighted content are blocked from using it.
Here's one with it.
keep getting "error starting tape mode"
Try looking at videos from authors that aren't partnered would be my current guess.
Ah, got it.
Sad video, but this one allows it: Click, doesn't work here
Here's one with it.
literally one of the greatest youtube clips.
Here's one with it.
hitting rewatch from the end of the video doesnt have it slowly rewind? 2/10 not wholly immersed, embarrassin'
Here's one with it.
Note: it won't show on embedded videos, you'll need to go to the video page itself to use tape mode.
it lacks random speed changes
I still got my old VCR's, and I don't remember them looking this bad
Note: it won't show on embedded videos, you'll need to go to the video page itself to use tape mode.
It still doesn't work
Useful!
Ya know, this would be great if it worked
Here's one with it.
finally gettin' some HYPER BAHSS sound.
Wish it effected the audio as well.
I still got my old VCR's, and I don't remember them looking this bad
They can look quite sharp on CRT televisions, if they are in good shape and the tape head is clean.
None of my tapes have what was originally on them anymore. Once I figured out you could tape over them by covering that little hole in the side as I kid, well let's just say my camcorder got a lot of pointless use.
once as a kid i was playing my superman 2 vhs and it spooled everywhere and was ruined. removing the tape was such a satisfying feeling, you just don't get that with blu-ray. :(
I wonder if this would work:
I wonder if this would work:
144p? What.
this is actually my preferred way to watch movies only losers watch HD digital video btw
It's like Instagram, but for videos.
