Dboy PDW
Please excuse any typos and things that don't make sense, I was typing this fast and trying to get done.

Ah yes, the Dboys PDW. A magnificent gun that can fit in your pocket, if you have incredibly large pockets. I got this little puppy at my local airsoft store for 240 smackers, I have no regrets. Now, I will begin this review.
First Impressions:
My first impressions when I first held this gun were, "Holy shit this thing is small," and "Holy shit it is full metal." Yes ladies and gentlemen, it is full metal. The metal is very nice and flat black. The paint can get scratched (not sure if this is the right word) easily, but if you lick your finger you can rub it off in a cinch. I wasn't sure if I was going to be fond of the small size but later on I was perfectly satisfied and I love the size now.
Externals:
Everything on this gun is very sturdy. The folding stock locks in place and won't budge at all. The charging handle and bolt catch are also functioning which is a plus (you access the hop up this way). This is one sexy gun, it looks different from the standard M4/M16 which is also a plus. The iron sights on this gun are absolute crap, I hated them so I usually just but the back one down and put the front one up and watched where my BBs went (this was before my red dot).
Internals:
I haven't probed around inside this gun too much and I'm not sure the exact specifications on everything so just keep that in mind. The hop up is plastic, one of the most important things on the gun is plastic. At first I was a little turned off by this, but it has grown on me and it does it's job. The hop up performs well and it takes quite a bit for it to lose it's setting. I would suggest getting a metal hop up later down the road though. The stock barrel it comes with is your standard brass barrel, nothing special. I am going to get a tight bore eventually and a longer one at that. I'm not going into the gear box just yet, but from disassembling my gun I can tell the gearbox is pretty nice and has a white polycarb piston. This gun also gives a stronger kick that most airsoft guns I have used (some friends and stuff) which surprised me. The spring that comes with it shoots a little hot at first (~410-415 fps) but I have compressed it and it should be around 390-400, especially after use (never have chronoed though).
Accuracy and range:
The accuracy on this gun is incredible. My red dot is perfectly zeroed and the BBs always go right in the middle of it. The range is pretty good, I can and have hit guys from 100+ feet with this baby. I would like it to have a bit more range because I mostly do field games. I would like to get into CQB but I can't (I'll get a weaker spring eventually) because of the fps on this gun which kind of surprised me because this gun was meant for CQB because of the size. I suggest using .25s because .2s tend to be inconsistent and the .25s gave it some more range.
Gripes:
There isn't much I dislike about this gun, but there are a few things that frustrate me. The sling mount slots don't fit the swivel mount that it comes with (at least for me), the only one that fits is the one on the stock; so I can't fold the stock in a game which I would like to do from time to time. The fire selector started to come loose during once game but that might have been the users fault and it was fixed with a quick allen wrench twist. There are two pins see in this picture (right and top circle):

Those pins fell out during a game and it left the spring that hold the dust cover loose so the bolt catch wasn't working because the dust cover didn't have tension behind it. So my fix was cutting an allen wrench that fit and super glued it in there (I know, probably a bad move but whatever) and it worked fine after that. In the same picture on left circle, you will notice there is something missing. The items missing are these:

They fell out during a game because of a design flaw, the flaw being that the pin that held them in was very loose and didn't fit snugly in its spot. So the pin fell out and as a result the two cylinder things fell out. And because the cylinder things fell out, these silver cylinders that are shaped like a + fell out as well (don't know the name but they don't have a function). It just kinda pissed me off because I don't like pieces of my gun missing, the good news is, the silencer on my gun prevented the silver things from falling out so thats good; now I have to fix that somehow. The PEQ box that comes with it is also pretty cheap, I would suggest getting a new PEQ box and maybe a lipo: just make sure a lipo wouldn't destroy it by getting the right upgrades. The battery is 9.6 volt (I believe)and 1200 Mah which gives it a good rate of fire. The pistol grip is also fairly small and doesn't feel good in my hand, I want to get one that is more ergonomic.

This red dot is absolutely amazing. It is super bright (even for the bright Texas summers), metal, has 4 reticles, 7 brightness settings, easy to zero, and full of awesome. I have no complaints about it and I would recommend it to anyone.
Flashlight:

The flashlight is also great. It is very, very bright and I can even shine it on the walls during the day and I can clearly see the light on the wall. It comes with a pressure switch and a momentary push button. The pressure switch is pretty sensitive which is a pro for me. I would also recommend this flashlight to anyone.

These do what they are supposed to and they are nothing fancy.
Cool story bro.
No but that's a pretty sweet ass gun. Do you know anything about the 551 or 552's or whatevers replica's by any chance? You seem to be a man of optics.

Seemingly is the key. Sorry but I don't, wish I could help you out.
I have the same B-2 Sight but it's circular, finding batteries for it is a pain.
Just watch batteries if I'm not mistaken.
Thanks for the review, but how much did you pay for the gun, and where did you buy it from? Cause I saw one for 200 bucks and then another for around 140.

I own 2 of the 552 models. One of them takes AA batteries while the other takes AAA batteries. Both of mine have slight ghosting issues, but nothing major. The main downside with cheaper 552 replicas is the low brightness. Both of mine are nearly worthless in direct sunlight. The reflex sight in this review (have one myself) works very well outside compared to the 552's.
Another issue is the adjustment screws. If you tightened them too far, they would lodge them selves off of their rail, making you unable to adjust your sight. I had to fix mine by opening up my EoTech to reset the part that moves the reticule.
I'm not sure how the newer replica EoTechs are, mine are at least 2 years old so things may have changed. They may look cool, but they may not be the best sights out there.

They're more or less still the same, actually. The only differences being the 551 running off of CR134 batteries instead of AA or AAA's. I've also gotten that problem where you need to open it up to reset it, I can't set my dot any lower than it currently is right now and it actually does obstruct part of the aiming reticule.
For an armalite that looks pretty decent actually.
Pretty sexy M4 you got there.
I have the same flashlight. Only thing I HATE is that it takes those fucking camera batteries which cost an arm and a leg to replace.

I took a mini-maglite, wrapped it in tape and put it in a low profile scope ring. Cheap and works just as good, if not better.
I do that too, but then it's huge and I can't mount anything else. Also no pressure switch.

Yeah, but I never liked pressure switches too much any way. I didn't find it that hard to just turn it off.
