I really need to buy Civilization V, which now has an official day in my state now.
DLC civs in multiplayer? This calls for a celebration!
The best part of civ is playing with islands, bullying an island into total control and then finding another island 3 times the size of yours owned by one faction
i wish they would add more technologies
i wish they would add more technologies
I agree 100% I really want a true future age, not just spamming nukes and paratroops.
i was hoping for more of a development pre-gunpowder [editline]19th February 2011[/editline] ages seem waaaay too short, even on epic games
For some reason whenever I play this now it's way too slow considering my PC. Used to run great, even on full, huge maps. Now I actually get stuttering on the main menu. It's depressing. I miss Civ V.
* significant turn time improvements.
Fuck yes. [editline]19th February 2011[/editline]
I agree 100% I really want a true future age, not just spamming nukes and paratroops.
Future age will probably come in an expansion.
I really can't see the dx11 features in this game, because by default under dx9/10 the tiles are pretty well detailed anyway, so it's probably almost unnoticeable that they're using dx11 tessellation. Shame really, they could use it for the other civ leaders you meet.
* Settler cost increased by 25% As if they didn't cost enough already.
They really nerfed gold income.
They really nerfed gold income.
Really? I just started a campaign and I just got into the renaissance era with 70 gold income per turn, usually i get like 10 [editline]19th February 2011[/editline]
For some reason whenever I play this now it's way too slow considering my PC.
Play on dx9, there is no graphical difference
Playing at 1920x1080 there is a noticeable difference.
Just bought Civilization V and i'm installing it now.
Prepare to not sleep for days.
Prepare to not sleep for days.
I was too addicted to the demo that I just had to get the full game.
I'm just curious, but have they added animations in Multiplayer yet? Been awhile since I've payed attention to patch notes on Civ 5.
I'm just curious, but have they added animations in Multiplayer yet? Been awhile since I've payed attention to patch notes on Civ 5.
Not really, units just appear on the tile they were moved to after a player's move.
Bah, just played an hour of Civilization 5. Everything still loaded so slowly that I couldn't get into it.
