It arguably makes the game look better, so why complain?
The original games do look good, just these make it look better, and it also fixes some odd textures in some places players rarely go.
too bad I can't support DX 10 or 11 stuff.
This looks impressive, I always thought the STALKER games seem to be getting worse and worse graphically :P

CoP needs less "realism" and "graphics" mods.
It needs more content. Mods like Redux, or that Russian Arsenal 2.0 thing.
Theres a video posted on the STALKER thread of it, it's got an LR300 and you can practically attach everything to it.
You need to attach a mag type to make it load bullets. (P-Mag, STANAG mag, drum mag.)
You can attach optics, 3D and 2D. (3D red dot, holographic sight, ACOG, etc.)
Silencer, m203, bla bla.
