So this is the pilot episode to my fairly-new machinima series filmed in Reach. It follows two Elite Minors (hence the name) who have to repay their debt to the Covenant Armada for their heinous crimes. It's a comedy. :v: It's starring DanzNewzMachinima, Ben Chambers, and Aaron Smithee mainly. It was written by Mangaman and directed by myself, TheNovaPow. I've gotten pretty mixed reactions on this. The main consensus seems to be "It was meh", and we're taking the more indepth criticism (such as the actual reviews its gotten) into much consideration, as critique always helps us improve. That being said, criticism is a main reason I'm posting this here. I'm anticipating this to get rated dumb about 50 times, though I thought I'd at least try to get some more insight, as production on episode two should be beginning soon and we'd like to know everything we can that needs to be fixed before we go too deep into it. So yeah. Let me know what main things you think need improvement, what you liked the most, etc. Thanks.
Further proves that anyone can get machinima to post their crappy halo videos.
line delivery is dodgy from some characters, in particular the two minors, the judge is good and the writing is okay but the obviousness of the rehearsed lines broke my immersion in the episode. my two cents.

I'm not expecting everyone to like it. Though I'd appreciate it if you told me more so what you disliked about it and why, rather than just calling it crappy. I'd like to know so that I can improve. We've been thinking about getting all actors on Skype simultaneously while recording lines so that maybe the delivery is less stale and would be more natural-sounding. Considering you've noted line delivery as a problem, we'll definitely see what we can do about arranging actual line-reading sessions. Thanks for pointing out that it bothered you.
That's a good method to improve I think, it didn't sound like you were replying to each other. I hope this improves because I think the idea as a whole could turn out quite well.

Thanks again. :D
I kind of like this. Holler at me if you need any minor voice stuff.
