When my dad was stationed in the Philippines he fucking hated the roaches. Whenever you put down a softpack of cigs they would eat right through it.

Still looks like a beautiful country, even if it's really dirty.
Saw this on the local news, as a Filipino living in the Philippines right now a lot of it is true like the dirty streets and horribly dirty comfort rooms. He does nitpick a lot though (even if it's obviously for edgy-ness and humor factor) like the skin whitening products, the warm beer, MILFs and stuff. Mostly lack of discipline and laziness are at fault to the dirty streets. But these are mostly visible on the busy cities or slums, but it's really really clean on the provinces and rural areas and has one of the most friendliest people around. Also one of the absolutely prettiest landscapes around the world, Crysis makes an accurate representation of it minus the North Koreans and aliens.
But yeah he hits the nail right on the head about how dirty the city can be and public places especially comfort rooms. As well as potholes, unfinished buildings and streets lasting for months end as if you're stuck on Grand Theft Auto's static structures. Also while it's not applied to all restaurants and other foods stands, some eating places can look rather questionable and unappetizing. Really wish government would do something about it more, and people cared about hygiene and living conditions better since a lot of other stuff makes me happy being born & living here sans the living conditions.

He was whining a lot about the public toilets. But they didn't seem to bad especially for a developing country. Many public toilets in the western world are far worse.

I laughed at all the nitpicky shit he says. I felt kind of offended at this, being a Filipino and all, but its true but it shouldn't really be blamed all on the people but more on the government shitty job at it. All shitty side aside, I still love my country and embrace the shitiness

I don't know. I think it all kinda looks like fun. Might chalk it up as a place to visit one day.

If anything, pollution is pretty bad in some parts of the cities. The last time I visited, I had to hold a handkerchief to my face because the smell of the air was horrendous.
