Goddamn, my Hotmail is somehow sending shit to people. - General

I just looked at my Sent emails, and apperently my account has been temporarily blocked, due to a suspicion that someone may have used my account for advertising. This has been happening since July apparently, and I didn't even notice. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Find his account and flood it with a crap load of spam.

This is called 'phishing'. You probably logge in on a fake hotmail and now they're sending shit using your email. I would just get a new account.

You should always have like 5 emails reserve incase shit goes down

Send a strongly worded email to yourself for them to read.

Stop using hotmail

Change password and other security. If it continues, delete the account.

Spam advertisements to people to prove a point.

Happened to me aswell, hotmail suspeneded my old account. 3 months later with 10 support tickets, they unsuspended it. Convert all your stuff to a new email.

This happened to me last month. Just changed my password to something really complicated and added a sign in seal. Been good for a month now.

Setup your hotmail to forward everything to your new Gmail account, that has a decent username (eg [email]Firstname.Last@gmail.com[/email]). Hotmail looks extremely unprofessional.

My father got mad once because I was sending him "free porn nice tits" stuff via yahoo, I had no idea.

Hotmail is becoming what Yahoo is: for kids. GMail retains the utilitarian style, which in turn looks professional.
