I want one too. where do I get those? looks self build (?)
Built it my self with a bit of wood from B and Q! Took two days :)
The fox part was amazing. Seems like you were in luck that day!
Out of the four times I have been to that field twice the fox's have been there, there is a family of them! They sit and watch the Tri-copter for ages.
I bet its fun to fly it
It's surprisingly easy as well due to on-board gyro's making for a stable flight!
I see the mechanical parts are home built, but the hardware for the copter, how and where? I mean, how does a copter hardware works basically and where did you get it/how did you make it?
I'm currently building one of these! Now you've got me wanting to finish it today.
I'm not a fan of hights. I expected it to go maybe 5-6 feet off the ground. Guess not
What kind of camera did you use?
so this is what noclip is like
What is that thing's top speed?
Awesome music
I think the fox is funny.
What is the total cost of the build?
Awesome music
Soical Network Dance Club music :) There's actually another fox watching as well if you look closely. Camera used is the GOpro naked edition. Total cost of the build is estimated 40 pound, motors are 3 pound each, wood was 2 pound from B & Q the main board is the most expensive at around 30 pound. A new one just came out that is cheaper, more efficient and smaller! Not too sure about top speed, it feel's REALLY fast when you tilt forward heavily.
so this is what noclip is like
Haha! :)
Did you use any sort of instructions to build it? If so have you got a link? And if not how did you learn to do this sort of thing. Awesome work bro, i really admire this sort of thing.
Built it to?! "Rate -> Winner".
Are there any tutorials out there on building one yourself? And whats the estimated costs of stuff you need?
Nice luck with the fox.
Are there any tutorials out there on building one yourself? Just to build the actual multi-copter with three propellers is around 40-50 pound. This how ever does not include controller and equipment for getting a first person view.
Do you have a screen on the controller or was it just coincidence that you took off once the fox left the screen.
I am wearing a set of video goggles which allows me to see what the Tri-copter see's!
My newest video! Shows the downside to the hobby, and it will happen. CRASHING!
