so fucking sexy probably the unique game i can run this year
Oh man i don't want to know if there are any spoilers ;(
I love these because I get to see the game, but I hate them because then, when I get the game, I'm just thinking, "Yeah, yeah, I've already seen this, get on with it."
The graphics are pretty, I don't give a shit about the game, however.
The graphics are pretty, I don't give a shit about the game, however.
Why, might I ask?
this game is fucking great holy shit, the comedy is the best i've ever seen in a game
Why, might I ask?
because he's stupid.
because he's stupid.
lol opinions are dumb I'm a GIANT valve fanboy and love Portal to death, but everyone is entitled to an opinion. Though I do want to hear his reasons.
Does the video contain any spoilers?
Does the video contain any spoilers?
It's the first twenty minutes of Portal 2, what do you expect?
Welp, that got my pre order! [editline]17th April 2011[/editline]
Does the video contain any spoilers?
Nah not really.
I didn't like the comedy, I didn't like the music, I didn't like the feel of the game, I didn't like the art style, the gimmicky jump through portals thing was fun for about an hour. I did beat Portal, it took me about five-six hours. It had absolutely no replay value for me, either. Once I beat Portal, that was it, I never touched it ever again, just used it for Gmod. I'm also completely disgusted at the fan base, which doesn't exactly help a whole lot.
Looks pretty good based on this video. When I play singleplayer games I spend my time to look for exploits or easter eggs. Sorry that I didn't go balls to the walls like you did
When I play singleplayer games I spend my time to look for exploits or easter eggs. Sorry that I didn't go balls to the walls like you did
I'm sorry but I can't stand idiots like yourself, have a nice life.
Game looks a hella lot better then I expected! Beautiful graphics, especially the broken glass effects. And even funnier than the first one I must say.

Why am I an idiot, mind saying?
Ahaha, this is great! I hope Wheatley isn't dead though :smith: I guess I'll just have to buy it and find out!
I hated Portal 1, I found it dull and monotonous, Chambers like 10 through 14 were fun, but after that, the absolutely novelty of the thing wore off. I'm very much about dry humour, but hardly any of that actually had me laughing. The environments look terrible. Plus the majority of those 20 minutes was a rehash of the original, Call of Duty did that and sold it for £10 and everyone was baying for their blood, why not Portal 2?
Go back to /v/.
Rehash is a fairly typical word, nothing to do with /v/. Especially having never visited there.
Because he said rehash? I'm sorry, but what?
Rehash is a fairly typical word, nothing to do with /v/. Especially having never visited there.
True. But you would really fit in there, judging a whole game on a 20 minute video and labelling it a rehash is their thing.
You realize it's to give you a feel of what happened to the facility in the 200-odd years you were stuck freeze-dried in a hotel room, correct?
I do, but I find it was taken way too far. No need to fill the entire first sequence with it.
I do, but I find it was taken way too far. No need to fill the entire first sequence with it.
It's only the first five or so chambers IIRC but I do see your point
His inability to solve the first couple of chambers irritated me to no end. He apparently knew who GLaDOS was, but he knew very little of the portal mechanics.
he's using a PS3, yet i see steam friends at the top right, also the first bit is the old levels of the first game, yet its changed around a bit, for example the lift has changed
Yes, XanaToast, those are Steam friend. PS3 uses STEAM for Portal 2. We've known this since Portal 2 was announced. PS3 PORTAL 2 USES STEAM
