A really interesting video from TED about string theory and the hypothetical 11 dimensions. http://www.ted.com/talks/brian_greene_on_string_theory.html
Interesting. I was a bit skeptical going in to it, because your description made it sound like that pseudoscience bullshit where that guy is talking about how time is the fourth dimension.
That guy has a fantastic voice.
I like the way this guy explains things. He breaks it down and makes it simple to understand.
I think I must've seen this on TV. I remember the bit with the ants and a few other things from a while ago.
That's some serious shit. I really want to see where scientists can go with this kind of stuff.
Didn't CERN recently perform a successful collision (that video was filed in 2005, the guy says in 5 years CERN could test for those dimensions)? Wonder if they've proven / disproven this then
The episode of Nova about String Theory got me hooked on the series. This guy was in it.

I always love hearing about dimensions and whatnot. I don't really know why but I find it very interesting.
Just saw yesterday something similiar on youtube. bt
Now i need to go lay down, my head hurts just from trying to grasp all of that information.
