This just in: WBC turns out to be very relevant to the thoughts, actions, and opinions of many americans. They are definitely relevant to society and we're definitely paying attention to them.

While I agree that many users of Facepunch are quick to condemn, they are a hate group. Only a few months ago were they protesting and causing tons of grief for the Sandy Hook funerals and other events of the like.
Where do you see any improvement?
If they were made an example of in the process, like enacting some massive humiliation upon all it's members, that'd discourage people from thinking it's ok, since they wouldn't want the shame and degradation that comes from being put in the stocks and pelted with rotten fruit, or having a variety of colourful slimes poured over them as they are painted with vibrant colours of freedom, libertarianism, and homosexuality. Also we could have hecklers in abundance, booing and jeering and laughing and cheering as they face humiliating trial after shameful tribulation.
If we can't beat them senseless or drive them to madness, we should at least be allowed to make them feel shame and degradation in abundance for their deliberate offensive ways that has infuriated countless millions of intelligent beings. People don't like feeling ashamed or being punished, and unleashing shameful punishment upon gay-haters would be quite the discouragement.
