I was eating. Also he should cut his nails. It's wierd how they allow the bone to come out, i'd think it would cause irritation and a fuck load of pain. I first thought that they would cut the nail and remove the matrix.

I think that goes for clipping them in a round fashion, try clipping them square and then clip off the sharp edges that are left (Do not take this advice as I'm not a toenail doctor :v:, it's just from what I've heard)
I thought they would have removed the nail. I remember when my nail came off (I either slammed my toe against something, or dropped something on it, can't remember) I could see the bone sticking out a bit. When it's healed, you feel no pain, but it looks and feels very weird.
I had an ingrown toenail removed once too, and this was still hard to watch.
Thought I could handle it, skipped ahead 3 minutes, jaw dropped. Why did I think this would be anything other than horrifying? How does a doctor gather the nerve to do that his first time, or any time? He must have balls of steel.
Does that flesh grow back or what?

I'm pretty sure some will go back, but the toe will still be partially deformed since that was some pretty extensive cutting.

It will grow back, and would look normal again. The sides of the toe would be a little lower, making in-grown toe nails nearly impossible to happen.

When I had mine removed it was a slight cut down the nail and then it was pulled out, with a tad of some chemical to kill the root.
Crap, flashbacks. This is like 'Nam for me. I've had the chemical used on the root to kill it once or twice, it didn't work either time.

Something about gross videos is entertaining. It's horrible watching but then you want to keep watching for some reason. I dunno

Once I cut my toenail too much and then it started to grow and I was creeped out that this doesn't happen to me. My classmate had some similar procedure, he said "Don't cut toenails too much" after that.
Well god damn.
For some reason my ingrown toenails (had two) never get this bad, well maybe they do but they heal themselves.
Seriously after looking at that I feel so very lucky.

i clipped my toenails wrong. It started to swell from the other side of my toe and become very painful as some of my nail got ingrown.
Later i managed to rip out the ingrown nail from there and my toe healed.
I cringed way too many times watching this.

I imagine the flesh grows back more or less normally, otherwise they'd perform one of the other procedures and nuke the nail.
