So I want an Xbox360 for Christmas, but I got a nice computer last Christmas and we have a family Wii. I highly doubt he would get one for the family, but I was thinking I might be able to convince him to get me a 360 for Christmas, any tips on doing so?

If plausible ask your parents if you can go 50/50 on the price of an Xbox or something, if you have a job just pay them out of your paycheck or offer some chores or something.

I never use the wii because it sucks.
I mostly want it to play with my friends, it's a lot more convenient that a pc is. There are also a few games that I can't get on a pc. I want to start using my more for just storage of music and for surfing the web, because pc's out date fast, but consoles last fairly long. Plus I can take my xbox places like a friends house.

Not really, my 2 years old plays everything quite well. It's just that you have to use lower settings on newer games, whereas console games they look just as shit every time.
1 - Tell Mr. Family to give you some cash.
2 - Buy shitloads of glue.
3 - Fill your keyboard with it.
4 - Post results.
Get one off craigslist. They go for really cheap, used.
With console games the graphics depend on your tv mostly, and I have a good tv to play on, and it's not just graphics, it's ram and the processor.
Ask your parents about it and if they say no sell them so you can buy the Xbox.
Just ask, If needed, just pay for it yourself. (or 50/50)
