This does not jive with Facepunch's narrative of Muslims being violent, immoral savages, Swebo. Gonna have to have to ask you to find some more damning examples in the future.
I applaud the selfless heroism of these people. Ive been critical of islam before, and still is, but ive never once believed that radical Islamists are anyones allies, they dont give a fuck that there are hundreds of families that depend on income from tourism, and so these people very naturally reject them, and thats a good thing.
Then again, Tunisia is the psychedelic mushroom on top of the cow shit.

I've been keeping up on this because my mum was staying 3 miles away from there a couple of months ago, so it struck a lot of interest in me. A lot of heroes seemed to show their face that day. - These guys forming the wall. - The guy who used himself as a shield for his wife, taking 3 bullets for her, then continuing to comfort an elderly man who was hit. - Then the 16 year old who got grazed by a bullet that killed one of the 3 members of his family who got killed, who also went on to comfort a woman who was hit. Really have to respect all these people.
Jesus christ, thats scary. My sister was in the exact same hotel and exact same beach 2 years ago on the same week that it would have been. Terrifying to think that my sister could have been one of those Brits. These hotel staff should be given awards, heck, not even that, they should be given a life of luxury for their bravery.
Thanks for bringing up something completely irrelevant
It's actually 100% relevant. Perhaps even, you're one of those people he mentions given that reply.
Tunisians genuinely seem like nice people, I want to visit some day.
This does not jive with Facepunch's narrative of Muslims being violent, immoral savages, Swebo. Gonna have to have to ask you to find some more damning examples in the future.
Rofl and how about you stop being stupid like your name says and not attribute human empathy to religion. The difference is that these Tunisians didn't protect these people in the name of Allah, but the shooter did kill them in his name.
“When I was taking the first one into the boat, someone said: ‘He’s out! He’s out!’ I saw the terrorist coming out of the hotel with a gun in his hand. He looked towards me swimming with these people because he heard their screams. “He raised the gun and aimed at me. He didn’t see I was an Arab. I gathered the four people close to me and turned my back towards him and shouted Allahu Akbar, very loud. “When he heard Allahu Akbar he lowered his gun and went on walking along the beach. “Then I decided to go after him. So I took a jetski and caught up to where he was. I picked up rocks and was throwing them at him, anything I could. I was about seven metres behind him. I was saying bad words in Arabic at him. But he just kept smiling. He walked about five metres and stopped, turned around and said: ‘I am not here to kill you. Turn around and go home.’ That was the last thing I heard from him.”
(User was permabanned for this post ("Terrible poster" - Starpluck))
The difference is that these Tunisians didn't protect these people in the name of Allah

"All I did was my duty, the duty of any Tunisian, and any Muslim"
From Moncef Mayel, a resident in the area near the hotel who threw bricks at the shooter and tried to distract him from attacking other guests. But nope all dirty muzzies are bad.
That quote contradicts your post, you realize that?
shhh don't try to be reasonable with spirit_breaker he won't listen to you
That quote contradicts your post, you realize that?
Do you mean to tell me that he murdered specifically non-muslim people because of his human empathy?
shhh don't try to be reasonable with spirit_breaker he won't listen to you
This is coming from one of the most idiotic people I've seen here who hasn't moved his ass from his chair and tries to tell people in Europe how to live their lives and thinks he knows more about their countries than them themselves while constantly acting morally superior to everyone else.
Do you mean to tell me that he murdered specifically non-muslim people because of his human empathy?
Yeah, he felt none for non-muslims, but allowed this muslim to tell him he was a piece of shit, throw bricks at him, yell God is Great in arabic...
Yeah, he felt none for non-muslims, but allowed this muslim to tell him he was a piece of shit, throw bricks at him, yell God is Great in arabic...
Attributing Allah Ackbar to muslims is like attributing me saying "oh my god" to Christianity. And you said it yourself, he allowed muslims to do whatever they wanted to him because they were muslims. He originally planned to murder the guy you know, until he heard his allah ackbar.
“When he heard Allahu Akbar he lowered his gun and went on walking along the beach.
Well now I know what I'll do if I ever end up in a situation like that. I'm off to get a tan and grow some beard, maybe learn some Arabic on the side.

Literally a senseless argument, if you want to make a point, be consistent...
This is coming from one of the most idiotic people I've seen here who hasn't moved his ass from his chair and tries to tell people in Europe how to live their lives and thinks he knows more about their countries than them themselves while constantly acting morally superior to everyone else.
Haven't you done the EXACT SAME fucking thing under the circumstances? I've seen you defend some pretty stupid points man.
You were talking about the locals, why did you switch the subject to the terrorist? Literally a senseless argument, if you want to make a point, be consistent...
First of, that's bullshit because I said that shooter was killing them in the name of the Allah (while (most of) people weren't protecting other people in his name), so how about you stop switching the subject to irrelevant nitpicking? In the first post he is talking about how all muslims are good/open minded and trying to break the stereotype while literally ignoring the muslim killer who specifically targeted foreigners and spared people once he found out they were not foreigners or that they were muslims. Not to mention that he mostly did it to provoke a certain group of posters from here while contributing virtually nothing to the thread. How can you not grasp that killer had religion in his mind while most of the population basically had their moral compass triggered? Do not twist my words into saying how I think all of them are savages, but you are a naive fool if you think Islam's values are compatible with modern day world. I might extremely dislike Islam, but that doesn't mean I extremely dislike all of the muslims. Just because it may be naive to label all muslims as violent savages (which I wasn't even doing in the first place, but the stupid mentality of this place "you're either with us or against us" got me this label in the first place), it's equally stupid to think that all of them are nice, tolerant, modern-day people. Also, I can't find the guy's Twitter that they're consistently quoting.
Haven't you done the EXACT SAME fucking thing under the circumstances? I've seen you defend some pretty stupid points man.
Like what? Go against retarded circlejerks that keep happening on this forum? Literally all that happens is that few people pat each other on the back and go "look how morally/politically correct we are" and then proceed to suck each other off even tho they basically know nothing about the circumstances about the said news. Not to mention that most them are adolescents which are very easily manipulated (like all you need is 10 ratings lol) and think anything even tiny bit right from the far left is Satan incarnate. This forum is so shitty to have a discussion on mainly because if you go against the bandwagon you get ostracized and thus many people are afraid to voice their opinions. I assure you I'm not the only one here who has these opinions, but the threads end up having only one opinion and ultimately leave an impression how the whole forum thinks that way. EDIT: Is funny rating new epic meme where you express your butthurt through it instead of dumb rating?
.
I think you fail to realize how far deep you are into conservative media bullshit.
Just wait until Explosions creates some bullshit counter argument of this.
Haha, double entendre [editline]29th June 2015[/editline]
This does not jive with Facepunch's narrative of Muslims being violent, immoral savages, Swebo.
I think you fail to realize how far deep you are into conservative media bullshit.
How so? I don't even read conservative sites nor have any relation to them, the only news site I actively read is B92.net, and I wouldn't really call them conservative, and even from them I take every news with a grain of salt.
After the attacks lots of Tunisians got there to apologize directly to the victims for the killer's actions. They're genuinely ashamed that some crazy fucking bloke showed up, told all Tunisians to go hide somewhere and started opening fire on the tourists.

http://www.defense.gov/news/newsarticle.aspx?id=15918 - relating to munitions found with sarin and mustard gas still viable inside. Literally 2 minutes of looking.
You have a habit if saying stupid things.
Wow holy shit the government of the nation that invaded the other nation claims the evidence is correct and the yellowcake can be used for nuclear energy, how shocking. Be sure to laugh at Russia Today for claiming it's correct for Russia to invade Ukraine later today tho. :) And I still doesn't see how that link invalidates anything I've said (like that Baby Incubator thing), regardless of your "evidence" being correct or not. Propaganda agents exist for every nation in the world. Can we not derail this thread with your hate boners against me?
Taking this back. Utmost respect for these people, and I wish them well for the rest of their lives; they deserve it.
You made a post, we posted why you were wrong, then you went on about the hate boner bandwagon, and I posted the examples of it just basically being you perpetuating this shit. Stop being your own victim.
