I didn't play Borderlands for the writing, I played it for the shootbangs and the loot.

Now I haven't followed this at all, but I assume the games that were singled out didn't have 30 million dollar budgets and weren't developed by 100+ person studios.

(varies) The Characters = I like some (Sir Hammerlock, Marcus, & Claptrap. And Axton is my fav), And hate most The Art = Ok The Story = Sucks balls, Burch turned Roland from a fun loving jack of all trades guy with a shady past into a boring military dude you hear in COD; and not the enjoyable type like Keith David. And he turned Mordecai, everyone's favorite sniper, into a miserable drunk. Plus he killed [sp]Roland off the stupidest way ever.
