Really loved following this when it was just first starting, one of the most exciting creepypastas/ARGs, every new video entry and community interaction felt like a great and nerve wracking moment.

I remember this. It was fun to follow the story as new videos was uploaded, It spooked me a bit to be honest. But I lost track when it went from the game to the Moon children website. Then it was just too much. I didn't know about the final act though

The ARG was really fun for the technical stuff in the videos. Its' hard to buy into shitty "I bought a spoopy unlabeled game cartridge from a witch doctor's yardsale and it was haunted!!", but fuck if the in-game videos weren't fun to watch. Those creepypastas worked best when they worked within the limitations of the video game engine, like Jvk1166z.esp for Morrowind (except for the whole DOSBox bit.)
