Honestly I thought that it would be a gun that fires skin cells at first. I feel dumb for thinking that. :downs:
"This video contains content from National Geographic, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds" Well they're not very National :colbert:
Technically they are. It isn't International Geographic, y'know?

Well now I couldnt even tell that guy had been a burn victim, thats boss.
I read the title as Skin Cell Gum.
That guy looks like he just has a wicked tan.
Wow, this is awesome news for burn victims. Normally they would have to walk around like monsters and live under bridges. Now they can just shrug it off (after a few hours of pain).
Haha I thought it would be a gun that fires bullet-sized clumps of skin cells as ammunition. But this is cool too.
Holy. Shit. That is just downright amazing.
fucking stem cells how do they work
could someone please get us a link everyone can see?
I haven't see it but I'm guessing it's this: http://video.nationalgeographic.com/video/player/national-geographic-channel/shows/explorer-1/ngc-the-skin-gun.html It shouldn't go down since it's from their official site.

no ban this gun., stemn cells make abortsion, ban this yuo sick fucks!!!!!!!!!!
Holy shit. Future is here at last. Now we finally need these flying cars.
"George garilax thinks he's found a way... but he'll need a gun..." Busted out laughing when I heard that. Best science line ever.
And this is why scientists need stem cells. I mean fuck i have cuts from last week that still haven't healed. And this guy lost pretty much his whole right side, and re-grew it in a weekend. That's god damn cool.
This is fucking awesome. Now to find a cure for cancer and AIDS.
Second degree burns make me cringe hard
This is fucking awesome. Now to find a cure for cancer and AIDS.
Why not use it to spray stem cells on areas affected by cancer? Cancer, in a nutshell, is the cells mutating. I was told the mutation is because of a lack of oxygen causing the cells to malfunction. Remove the cancerous cells and spray the area with this, might work. :) [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] If someone knows better what cancer is in cells, do tell. I'd rather have correct information then hear-say.
That's amazing.

I'd rather have correct information then hear-say.
A cancerous cell is a normal cell that simply doesn't know when to stop growing. It's much more likely to occur internally so this wouldn't be very effective. The objective would be to destroy the cancer cells in question, so painting more cells over them wouldn't have an effect and might actually just add additional resources. This is a solution for a separate problem entirely, though the thought of applying it to other issues is good.
Thoughts in order 1. A gun that removes skin cells when fired at a person 2. Another great idea that works, but won't go far 3. Hot dam, look at that guy oh wa- 3.5 stems cells, dam. I approve using stem cells for medical purposes like these, but the whole "stem cells kill, blahbity blah" stuff.
I wonder how expensive a treatment is.
