At the very least, get Populous: The Beginning. It's a brilliant game. By no means perfect, but it's the game I've played the longest continuously (played it for the first time when I was just 4, now I'm 20, still play it).
Yeah sure, play them before they all shut down. Every last single mother fucking one of them.

Alpha Centauri - Planetary Pack - £1.69 http://www.gog.com/game/sid_meiers_alpha_centauri Get it NOW. Literally one of my favourite games ever, even though I am crap at it. This sonofagun is the most universe building 4x games ever. Get it.
Whatever you do, make yourself a favour and play Nox. Especially if you've enjoyed Diablo and Baldur's Gate.
Nothing like casting a spell that raises a giant area from the ground where the armies from each side gather and battle to the death.
using blast spell to push people to the water was always fun
using blast spell to push people to the water was always fun
Most satisfying spell to me will always be Erode. There's just something about sinking the land below the sea and watch buildings disappear and followers drowning.
Still missing American McGee's Alice. I loved that game!
