that lady was right. She's not racist. She just wouldn't date an asian guy
how does having sexual preferences make you racist?
that's like saying gay people are sexist.
FUCK that.
Well why would you write off an entire race like that? It is a little racist. I have never dated a black person and I'm generally not attracted to black people, but it would be ridiculous of me to say "I would never date a black person."

If you're not attracted to black people I think it's pretty safe to say you wouldn't date a black person, unless you make it a habit to date people you aren't attracted to.
I'm not racist, I'm just picky

i explained this months ago in the last thread
it's entirely different to say something like "i don't find most asian/black/white/hispanic wo/men attractive" than it is to say "i would never date them"
reason being is that the first evokes the specif reason - that you're simply not physically attracted to their characteristics, whereas the second is so vague that it can very easily mean a huge variety of things.
even then it's a bit iffy because you're effectively saying that all people of a specific ethnicity look the same, which isn't true. there's significantly more variation within than between.

...in physical characteristics there is significantly more variation within each race than between each race. to identify specific physical traits and attribute them to the races is incorrect from a real world and statistical standpoint.
Evidence from the analysis of genetics (e.g., DNA) indicates that most physical variation, about 94%, lies within so-called racial groups. Conventional geographic "racial" groupings differ from one another only in about 6% of their genes. This means that there is greater variation within "racial" groups than between them. In neighboring populations there is much overlapping of genes and their phenotypic (physical) expressions. Throughout history whenever different groups have come into contact, they have interbred. The continued sharing of genetic materials has maintained all of humankind as a single species.
Physical variations in any given trait tend to occur gradually rather than abruptly over geographic areas. And because physical traits are inherited independently of one another, knowing the range of one trait does not predict the presence of others. For example, skin color varies largely from light in the temperate areas in the north to dark in the tropical areas in the south; its intensity is not related to nose shape or hair texture. Dark skin may be associated with frizzy or kinky hair or curly or wavy or straight hair, all of which are found among different indigenous peoples in tropical regions. These facts render any attempt to establish lines of division among biological populations both arbitrary and subjective.
in effect, by stating "i'm not attracted to (ethnicity)" you're more than likely not referring to the skin tone, but to the physical bone structures that make up their face - esp given that our skin colors within races vary wildly thanks to tanning. while this on its face (heh) isn't racist, it fails to understand that there is HUGE genetic variation within each race and that the things that we associate as being stereotypically characteristics of each race, are exactly that. stereotypes. as such, to say you're not attracted to a whole ethnicity is to say that each individual of that ethnicity has those characteristics. which they do not.

The dumb ratings pretty much signify the leaking of buttpain.
this was posted months ago and we hated it then, and we hate it now
Just because you are not sexually attracted to something so visible as ones race, doesn't mean you hate that whole race.
It's like, say you are not sexually attracted to someone with long legs, you would then never date anyone with long legs.
That doesn't mean you hate anyone with long legs.
I would never date an asian =/= i think asians are inferior
