President Trump would beat Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) in a hypothetical 2020 election, though he would lose in a race against an unnamed Democrat, according to a Politico/Morning Consult poll released Wednesday. When asked to choose between Trump, Warren, or an unnamed Democrat, 42 percent said they would vote for Trump, while 36 percent chose Warren. Twenty-two percent said they did not know or did not have an opinion. When asked if they would vote for Trump or the unnamed Democrat, 35 percent said they would probably vote for Trump, while 43 percent said they would probably pick the Democrat. Twenty-three percent said they did not know or have an opinion.
source: http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/319600-trump-beats-warren-in-2020-match-up-poll I guess she's been kind of tainted, with the pocahontas shit and whatnot from the Trump crowd, and for siding with hillary alienating the progressive side.
The fucking election is 4 fucking years away. Why are we polling this now?
The fucking election is 4 fucking years away. Why are we polling this now?
It builds hype and helps people figure out who should run. It also provides insights on how things have changed from election day to now.
The fucking election is 4 fucking years away. Why are we polling this now?
Because people can't wait for the next election, so we can get this idiot out of the white house.
People would vote him back in? What?
People would vote him back in? What?
"4 years aint enough to make #maga" besides at this rate, pence will be the incumbent
Unnammed Democrat sounds good to me. Got my vote.
When asked to choose between Trump, Warren, or an unnamed Democrat, 42 percent said they would vote for Trump, while 36 percent chose Warren.
I feel that this is important.
prepare for 2 term trump followed by 2 term pence
I mean with that last name you're sure to win
hmm but who is the unnamed democrat? why won't he reveal himself, eh?? real suspicious if you ask me
Well that settles it then. Ann Naim Democrat 2020
hmm but who is the unnamed democrat? why won't he reveal himself, eh?? real suspicious if you ask me
Since shadow presidents are okay the dems are going to take another progressive step and drop the pretense too
Didn't the polls give trump a 30% chance of winning?
Didn't the polls give trump a 30% chance of winning?
Less in some cases.
Didn't the polls give trump a 30% chance of winning?
That's not how polls work. Of course, there were people who looked at them, did their own thing, and then came up with percentages. 538 for example did give him pretty much that chance. Some like huffpo gave him 1%.
Polls are flawed because only populated (typically left leaning) areas are used as the source of information.
Polls are flawed because only populated (typically left leaning) areas are used as the source of information.
That's not polls inherently, but it was a problem with this election since states thought to be part of the blue wall didn't get polled as much. And I mean, on a national level, she still won the popular vote by millions. But since we have our hilarious electoral college system, you can't just go off of that and make predictions.
Didn't the polls give trump a 30% chance of winning?
30% ain't bad odds for a presidency bid IMO. Better than a one in four chance. I'd take it. But if the democrats actually try to run Warren I will shit myself with rage. Please don't.
Polls are flawed because only populated (typically left leaning) areas are used as the source of information.
did you even read the poll? it shows trump winning over warren. how is that left leaning ????
did you even read the poll? it shows trump winning over warren. how is that left leaning ????
It's left leaning because [INSERT DEMOCRAT HERE] beat Trump? Did you read the poll?
It's almost like Americans are inherently stupid people and are perpetually ignorant of reality. It's like I said before, if Americans are dumb enough to vote Trump into office, they're dumb enough to reelect him too.
The unnamed Democrat is just Elizabeth Warren in a trenchcoat.
prepare for 2 term trump followed by 2 term pence
Would rather have 1 month of Trump followed by 1 term Pence
I admit I don't know much about Warren, but I liked her ever since I saw her figuratively castrate the CEO of Wells Fargo during a congressional hearing about a scam the company was running, absolutely emasculate him and tear him a new asshole, all the while adhering to professional standards expected of Congress. It was beautiful. So what's so bad about her?
So what's so bad about her?
She has little mainstream presence and most of it is being ridiculed by Donald Trump. I don't mind Warren myself but I wouldn't want her to run. At this point I'd vote for basically anyone that wasn't Trump but she has a lot of the same problems Kerry had in 2004; an identity as a boring party establishment figure with no real charisma and no chance of building much support. The last three elections have taught me that if you want to win with the American people, you have to be a charismatic populist
The fucking election is 4 fucking years away. Why are we polling this now?
Long-term strategy.

she's a women too, i'm sorry americans but yes, sadly, it does change things
she's a women too, i'm sorry americans but yes, sadly, it does change things
Implying Hillary losing had anything to do with her being female.
