Introduction: Upload GIF's that you made, whether it's an avatar, a picture, or anything really. Upload as much as you want, doesn't matter if its just one GIF. Don't just post it, tell us how you got the idea to make it, how you made it etc. Give feedback on anyone's GIF if you want. Rules: Make sure that what you upload is what YOU made, not your best friend, your cousin etc. No pornography. GIF'S only, still pictures are lame *In this thread* ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's one I made earlier today I've been playing Majora's Mask all day and I thought it would be interesting to make an avatar out of the skull kids first appearance. Got out fraps and recorded it, imported it into Photoshop, and rendered as a GIF. Free to use as an avatar.
Shit thread unless its for gif's which are made of illustrations you've made yourself.
GIFs are useless for avatars for the majority of FPers because you need gold, and if you have gold they need to be less than 102KB (ish) APNGs would be better, but have to be smaller than 28KB

I am not familiar with any software that can save an animation directly in animated PNG.

Was expecting a GIF you made from scratch.
What about gif2apng?
My point exactly, you don't create the animation itself in APNG, hence why eltro102's argument is somewhat invalid. No .APNG without .GIF
Pascall has a nice avatar. Didn't see that footage with John.

Here we go: Don't worry, grass doesn't burn in Norway. Snow made it seem a lot better, love the visible caustics. Me and a friend wanted to cut some stuff, so we did. (With a stupidly unsharp fake katana I might add) Fiddling around in RealFlow. Rendered with Vray.
it's transparent! :buddy:
They're all made from scratch. Using a Casio EX-F1 for the high speed ones.

Aren't all of those listed simply video>apng converters?
Aren't all of those listed simply video>apng converters?
No, you can make any series of PNG-files into APNG with Virtualdub
No, you can make any series of PNG-files into APNG with Virtualdub
With a special modification of VirtualDub, yes.
With a special modification of VirtualDub, yes.
Of course, it was already mentioned earlier in the thread

At 380 meters per second the [del]bullet[/del] pellet breaks the sound barrier. 3 - Impact on water. 4 - Gas driven Airsoft gun doing things. That's it for the high-speed ones.

Fuck it, I lied, have some more high speed videos: As I said earlier, grass doesn't burn in Norway. No worries.
