Looks too much like The Matrix to me, but whatever...
I'm excited to see it.
Huh, I could have sworn that the Resident Evil series was about zombies.

4 and 5 weren't.
but they're dumb as shit anyways so who cares
Fuck yes!
As a avid watcher of the Resident Evil movie series, I can say that this looks like ass.
Resident Evil Extinction was cutting the line, this.. this is just over doing it.
They're bringing aspects of super powers, i.e Matrix like said above, but stronger. Or some shit. The first one was great, it told story, action, plots. Everything. Second was interesting, less action, still had the story. Extinction. "I has super powers, and I'm a bitch from hell that was genetically modified to kick ass."
This just.. bafgjdsfsd
Though they are bring in a lot of aspects of Resident Evil, the game series.. so I'll see it probably in theaters.
I think Degeneration was the most faithful to the series, even though it's technically not part of these Resident Evil movies.
Things I like:
Story evolves like the games, as far as the types of virus goes.
Wesker is a bad ass, like always.
Things I hate:
Everything else.
Wesker looks fucking bad-ass.
You guys liked Wesker (From the movie trailer)? I mean I'm a huge Wesker fan, but I'm terribly afraid. Then again they fucked Wesker up in Resident Evil 5, so it would take a lot to mess him up even further. Why the fuck are the movies introducing the Plagas now? I mean, isn't the world pretty much fucked over since Extinction?
I like the first movie, and that's all. The Second one was a guilty pleasure, but still terrible. The third one was okay, until the end of the movie.
I loved Wesker in RE5. Nothing is more believable than a villain that believes YOU are the villain.
Extinction was the only remotely good RE film.
Even though it didn't have anything at all to do with the games I just loved the Road Warrior with Zombies thing it had going.

I didn't like how Wesker became a generic villain who wanted to take over the world. I mean, since Code Veronica brought him back from the dead, he's been made out as this power player who operates behind the scenes. I was a little disappointed this master plan was to destroy the planet. Then again, I've heard from fans theorize that after [sp]Spencer revealed that he was a clone, and has been strung along this whole time[/sp] that he lost his mind...I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Also don't get me started on the very end. [sp]What a lame final boss battle. I enjoyed the fight in the temple more then the final boss fight. And thank god they conveniently landed in that Volcano.[/sp]
EDIT: [sp]Oh yeah, forgot to mention. I love how Wesker is made out to be unstoppable, but at the very last second, Jill calls them up to tell them about the Serum Wesker has to take. You know, the serum that has never been revealed or even hinted at. Great Dues Ex Machina moment there.[/sp]
I've only seen the first two RE movies. They were horrible. They turned down George A Romero because they wanted the movie to have less gore so that children could see it.
Looked pretty cool until the live action started. If you have to mention the kind of technology used to film your movie in the fucking trailer, that's not a good sign.

Pixel Heart aren't you supposed to be a girl? Why are you excited about a resident evil movie? Suspicious...
Where might be the zombies?

I thought this was going to be another animated film. Unfortunately no it was not.
This movie series is absolute garbage because it has nothing to do with Resident Evil (except for the first 2 movies, but only just) and the movies just suck in general. The third movie made me cringe because it was so terrible. Jedi mind powers? Seriously? Clones? Friendly zombies? Who the hell came up with this shit.
Also this movie looks the worst of all... Now it has Ninjas! in 3D!
Atleast wesker and RE5/4 zombies are in this one. Should be somewhat interesting, but dual katanas shit blowing up and diverolls? Looks like they were trying to use every action-esque cliche in the book.
Being a diehard RE fan, I'm going to watch this. Sure it looks a little too action-y but that's the turn the series took to appeal to more people. Sure they kind of sold out with the whole 3D and shit, but I still think it'll be a decent movie.
Also damn, I thought Jensen Ackles was going to be Wesker :saddowns:
[editline]12:00AM[/editline]
Also they re-used a song from the second movie, the Resident Renholder remix of "The Outsider" by A Perfect Circle :v:
That is probably one of the worse movie trailer I've seen this year, hahaha.
Maybe if we throw in katanas, slow motion scenes and dismemberment our film will be better.

RE4 / RE5 were action based, but atleast the plots in those games made sense and followed the general direction of the story. These movies are just one cliche after the other.
well, i give it a rating of "less than wet, smelly dogshit with gimmicky 3D technology"
I think it will be a fun movie to watch. It obviously won't have much for plot. I love the RE movies and games, so I will probably like this movie.
Zombies in 3D, I'm pretty much sold.
These crappy movies are made because of people going "I have to see it because I like Resident Evil" No you don't. Stop giving your money for this shit and maybe they will improve it.
The entire Resident Evil storyline is fucking everywhere. I thought I saw Wesker in there when [sp]he dies at the end of Resident Evil 5[/sp].
I love the Resident Evil movies. Sure, they are not like the games, but they are really fun to watch. I bought the first three. I'm gonna see this the first day it came out.
Wentworth Miller as Chris?. Oh shit he must of got resurrected.....

Resurrected? What?
These movies are a complete disgrace to the games, it's just some super powered bitch running around every movie. Why couldn't it of just followed the games, is it really that hard? Maybe someday there'll be a reboot that stays true to Resident Evil.
