For a second I didn't realize it was a physics simulation. Seemed so real.

Simply amazing. Poor bunny's though
Oh if only Valve replaced Havok with this physics engine...

Then we'd have to replace our computers :frown:

Just imagine every time you walk over a clump of dirt you're computer overheats and dies

Not necessarily. The scalability of the engine shown in the demo could hopefully allow for simulations that are interactive in real-time in video games. I've also read some articles online about the engine and there are rumors that a game studio is already trying to implement it.

To be honest, i dont think this was even RENDERED in real time at 30 fps, if it was, then i wish i had there computer.
If valve used this, it would cause too many computers to commit suicide.
For a second I thought it was real to.
Cool.
I don't see how this is new though. It's still all pre-rendered, and we know amazing physics can all be pre-rendered well.
I want the dirt thing running in real time.

Then go outside and play with some dirt.

But if it were on the computer I could crash land a spaceship in it.
saw this yesterday, rating late because I can
