Chuck is about a twenty-something underachieving nerd who's life changes one day when he receives an email containing thousands of encoded government secrets, which all end up in his brain. The CIA and the NSA send their best agents to protect Chuck, using his information for missions in exchange for saving his life on a daily basis.

I was right in the middle of making another thread!
Here's a little video I made for the last season of Chuck. Obviously there will be SPOILERS!

Let me know what you guys think.
It's been almost a week and I'm still in post-finale shock/awe/depression.

The finale was so shocking I got pneumonia after it finished.

Should I be laughing or giving you a heart?

Same here. I feel depressed. I feel like I shouldn't though because its a TV show. I don't know if its because we will not see these characters again or how it ended but I feel super depressed. I wanted to stop making that video a couple of times because of that ending =/
I just spent the last 7 hours getting caught up on this season...
This was easily the greatest season of the entire series, not even exaggerating.
Finished the finale 10 minutes ago and I'm still shaking a little and holding back tears.
Jesus Christ, I haven't been this affected by a series finale since Lost or Six Feet Under... I'd say I'm even more upset than I ever was with either of those shows.
And there I go, the tears are flowing again.
God damn it.
I hate myself for nearly giving up on the show after the way Season 4 ended.
Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski both deserve awards for their performances in the last few episodes.
I'm going to go wrap myself in my bed and cry myself to sleep now.
I'm very happy the show got a good ending and finished while it was still doing good. It seems that most shows nowadays end after degrading in quality over a few seasons or because of a cancellation. Chuck managed to stay fresh for all of its seasons (I think so, anyways) and, unlike a lot of other shows, didn't drag out for several years. I'm going to miss it, but I take solace in knowing it ended on good terms. Fantastic show.
I nearly gave up hope at the end of S4 but this season reinvigorated my love for the show and brought it back to Season 1 & 2 quality... dare I say, maybe even better.
When it ended, I really felt like I had just lost my best friend all over again.
But, I'm going to ignore any and all petitions that want to bring it back for a movie or anything just because this finale brought so much closure to everything that it deserves to be left alone.

I enjoyed the LOST finale and I was sad over that the show came to an end, but I never was depressed about it. The Six Feet Under ending was depressing [sp]yes slightly happy seeing all the characters live the rest of their lives[/sp] But the Chuck finale was different somehow. I remember as a kid I was always a sucker for someone loosing their memory in movies and I remember that I always felt sad/bad for that person. This ending made me upset for days after and I'm still upset over it.
I also think that Zachary and Yvonne should get some sort of award. Their chemistry was always amazing in the show. I do think that Chuck had THE best love story ever portrayed on television.
What I liked about the last episode is that Sarah really did feel like a completely different person.
On the brightside, now that this show has ended, I am free to hang out on friday nights

There's still Supernatural, Grimm, and Fringe on Fridays.
Grimm is pretty terrible though.
I watched a few first episodes of season 1 and 2, but then I stopped because I knew they would drag it out like Lost or House. And I didn't have time for it. Will I like the whole thing, if I've seen a few?

Yes. By the way you worded your sentence did you watch a couple of episodes of Season 1 and 2, or did you watch all of season one and then part of 2? toward the end of Season 4 is my least favorite season, but it makes up in Season 5 which is my favorite season.
I would watch it. Its amazing.
I didn't quite like season 5, it felt quite different and the writing was a bit messy, but the finale was good.

I stopped watching supernatural after this season's second episode. The website had too many commercials and I didn't feel like downloading the episodes. Also I think the show should have ended at season 5 but whatever, this is the chuck thread
Welp, that's it then. Still, I thought someone would die (casey).
rewatching the first season. I forgot how great it was.
Eh, in all honesty, I can see why a lot of people got turned off of the show based solely on the first few episodes of season 1.
It's the people who persevere through all of the terrible video game references and 'tech repair' that can truly appreciate the chemistry between the characters and ultimately the whole point of the show.
Although I hate that it's over it probably had to. I really liked the ending and I almost cried. Now time to rewatch all of the seasons.
Sorry about the spoilers in the other thread. I completely blanked on that (I can't edit my post either). The last 3 episodes of season 5 really got me good (emotionally). Was so very close to shedding a tear near the end.

But I liked the video game references.
Honestly, the video game references tend to be completely wrong and out of place but I can forgive them since no tv show ever gets things of that nature right.

I thought the game references in Chuck were pretty decent; Seeing as how Zachary Levi is a big gamer, and so is Joshua Gomez.

Any example ?
Does it really matter? I love the show regardless and wanting me to cite specific examples of something as minor as a video game reference is pretty ridiculous especially when said reference tends to leave my brain shortly after seeing it.
Luckily they get every movie and tv reference spot on.
Well you did say they were wrong and out of place, we're just wondering why.

The ridiculous references to Call of Duty always got me, where they would talk about it like it's some hyper realistic, way-more-than-16-player war simulator. It's exaggerated nerd talk, stuff that sounds right to a general audience and that the more niche viewers (us) can appreciate on a more subtle level.
Just watched Season 4 finale last week. I totally guessed that last line by Morgan [sp]"I know Kung Fu."[/sp], so predictable. I wish New Zealand wasn't so far behind on every show they screen, I really want to watch season 5.
