It's more like disabling it and then binding the console commands for spawning enemies to different keys on your keyboard so you can start spamming shit on command. It's fun to do when you want to fuck with your friends.

This reminds me of when I used to be an admin for a Left 4 Dead server my friend was running. I would have these 'Admin Abuse' nights where I'd spawn stuff to make the game harder, just like this. I was particularly fond of my 'Mighty Boomer Army' attacks. Every now and then I'd spawn in some pills or medkits if I was feeling merciful. If the players could make it all the way to the finale, I'd spawn a bunch of miniguns for them to use as a reward.
