• Looking for some tips

I recently picked up a macroing filter for my Nikon SLR, and I was wondering if anyone had neat ideas or tips on creative ways to use them. I'm also linking a few shots I took already, and looking for criticism in general. Pics
They seem out of focus. Make sure your pictures are in focus
Macro filter, the one I have means you have a very limited depth of field? You really need to know what you want to focus on, and even then a lot will be left out. I quite like the second one, the light coming off the leaves gives them a nice soft look, maybe work on the focus a bit.
Stop taking macros. Set your camera to f/8 or f/11 and do some street.
