My first ever kickstarter I've actually given money to More Info at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1548960623/parkitect
Doesn't look like anything is new from Rollercoast Tycoon
Couldn't be worse than this. Just get the first ones on GoG or Steam.
Doesn't look like anything is new from Rollercoast Tycoon
There's some differences written on the kickstarter page. The biggest is probably the need to actually stock your shops with stuff from time to time rather than having shops with infinite supply of stuff to sell.
To be fair it's apparently in pre-alpha so all we can do right now is wait and see how it turns out.
that is literally just roller coaster tycoon
"why has it taken someone so long to start making this game?" i don't get it, this game WAS made
It honestly looks like a copy paste but uglier This can't be legal
Looks pretty crappy and RCTW is coming
I don't get it. Just play RCT2 or 3 ? They're cheap as fuck and they work perfectly well on modern PCs thanks to gog.
I don't get it. Just play RCT2 or 3 ? They're cheap as fuck and they work perfectly well on modern PCs thanks to gog.
The first one is one of my favorite games, but the lack of freeplay and the fact that the controls are absolute ass, i wouldn't mind a new one.
Looks pretty crappy and RCTW is coming
Admittedly I can't really be that hyped over RCTW considering that mobile game was something they thought we wanted. This pretty much seems to be a beefed up RCT/RCT2, with a few neat new features thrown in such as: the whole staff 'behind-the-scenes' part of the park you have to build the more detailed coaster builder, G-force visualisation too. Custom Ride editors (Woo!) Improved guest AI (RCT/RCT2 really needed better AI) I can't say that it doesn't look obviously inspired by RCT, but with the new RCT most likely going down the same route as RCT3 I welcome an isometric-like theme park builder.
The park design in the trailer is terrible. Also looks exactly like RCT2 except with simple 3D.
Looks okay I guess. Seems like RCT with a Prison Architect type of building system. I always wanted to see an open-source RCT instead. Something like OpenTTD but for RCT instead. To those complaining about RCT Mobile, I think that was actually part of the whole plan by Atari. Atari are broke so they decided to make that money-grabbing game so they could hopefully make a profit and put those funds towards RCTW. I'm hoping that's true.

Wow. That looks amazing. Can't wait to see if it actually gets completed!
