I Can Not Receive A Higher Education Because Of My Parents

I don't know if these threads are allowed. Ban me, I don't care anymore.
Well, about two years ago, my mother was discussing me going to a better school, because she thought I had the potential. So, she shows me the website to one of them, and talks to my father about it, and he says that it would be pointless and a waste of money. I immediately become hooked on getting into one of these schools. One of the schools in questions is The Kiski School, which is a boys college preparatory boarding school.
Lets move up to November of 2010. I am still researching the best schools, and how I can get into them. I make my list of schools that I am interested in, and what I need to send in to apply. When I say the best schools, I mean schools Phillips Academy Andover, Phillips Academy Exeter, and Choate. I tell them about it, and my father is again saying how it would be pointless and stupid. My mother acts like she wants me to go and that she tells my father about it all of the time, but in actuality, she only does this when I mention any of the schools, and what we need to do to apply. I remind them over and over again that I need to take my Secondary School Admissions Test, so that I can apply. They procrastinate setting me up for the test all the way until the deadline of admission to these schools, which was in January. So, I can't go to the schools that were the top on my list, now. They blew it for me.
Lets move to June of this year. I have just taken my Secondary School Admissions Test, in hope that I can at least get into a moderately nice school, since all of the best schools are finished with applications. I found out that I did very well on my test. There is only one problem. My father doesn't want to pay the tuition for this school, and my mother can't convince him while she is throwing money into her plastic surgery. I can't go to a good school because my parents don't want to give me the money that they have. Lets keep in mind here that my father makes about $80,000 a year. He can easily pay the $10,000 or less for tuition. This is for room and board. It isn't solely for education. We need to have about 60% of the tuition by July 1st. I know that I should go here. I'm now going to 10th grade, I'm at the top of my class, and I make very good grades. My friend was accepted into the school with a 43rd percentile and his father simply paid for it, immediately knowing that he was accepted. My percentile is more than twice of what his was. My parents are simply being money grubbing naives that don't want to help their child have a better education. I was thinking of telling my father and mother what I really think about them, so they would possibly feel guilty and then pay for it. I don't know what else I can do. What are your thoughts?
I feel that I should add in that this is only for one school year. The school that I go into after my 10th grade, will be free, because of their Need Blind Program. Our family would qualify for it.

Tell your mom to stop buying plastic fucking surgery and to think about her kids future
Get a job?

Or this.
Or confront your Dad about why he won't do it.
10 grand is a lot of money, doesn't matter how much you make.
Ban me, I don't care
...Mother of god....
Sorry, but your parents seem selfish.
My father makes less than 80k a year and he would still pay $10,000 to give me a higher education

Higher Education pretty much guarantees you a better job, doesn't matter how smart you are.
Edit
As in:
The guy with the degree will get the job, just because he has the degree.
If you're dad don't want to pay for you, you should go tell him hes an asshole
Seems like your parents are pretty selfish people, so you're gonna have to brew up a storm here to get them to do it.
Get a loan or apply for a scholarship.
I am sure your dad is under the impression you think too easy of the money involved. No dad would say that just because he's a heartless prick.
Perhaps he wants you to climb the ladder and work for it like he did?
Tell your Dad to stop being such a bitch, and threaten to tell your Mom of his dildo stash.
Works for everyone.

My father works at a Steel Mill. He simply has the highest paying job that you can get. Also, my father doesn't actually pay for anything in our home, besides usual bills. This means no food, and god forbid a present on my birthday. He gives my mother a certain amount of money each month so that we are able to survive. This is usually about $500. He uses the rest of his money every two weeks to purchase alcohol, and he goes to parties and other outings. He receives about $2700 per paycheck. He spends about half of it on himself, every week.

So ask him why he can't spare money to further his own son's education.

Yeah get a shit job and save up for a year and then spend all that money on college, with no guarantee that it'll be worth it.
They need to get their head out of their asses and realize you're a smart kid that has a bright future. Tell them exactly what you think and do what you need to to get that money. It doesn't sound like your mom is using it very wisely anyway.
Your parents sound like the kind of people I hate. Also, is the plastic surgery something necessary? Does your mother have a growth somewhere on her face or something? Or does your dad just want some extra boobs to fondle while laughing at you?
Yeah get a shit job and save up for a year and then spend all that money on college, with no guarantee that it'll be worth it.
There are plenty of people that do this. There's never a guarantee.
Dropouts have better chances finding a proper job statistically.
Your parents are selfish douche bags. Tell your mother to stop the plastic surgery, she has a husband. Tell your father to stop being a complete dickhead about it. It's his son's education. If you were my son, I would invest every dime I had so that you would have a good education and life.
I should probably reiterate that this plastic surgery isn't actually paid for by my father, but my grandmother. My mother basically begs my grandmother for money each month for plastic surgery for her legs and face.
Your parents really do have their priorities in order.
Wait so they aren't keeping you from going to college, they are keeping you from going to a prep school?
That doesn't sound nearly as bad.
Also 10,000 dollars is a lot of money on 80,000 a year.

Dang bro. I can see why you talk like that about him then.
How about a scholarship? Surely you can get one if you're as good as you say you are?
itt: massive bannage for posting in a ban me thread

Why is your grandmother willing to do that?

They only gave a certain amount of scholarships in the beginning of the year. Since I wasn't able to apply to the school, I also wasn't eligible for a scholarship.
Student loans and scholarships, if your grades are as good as you say they are you won't have a problem.

Wait, so you had to pay for tuition before being eligible for a scholarship?
Wait, so you had to pay for tuition before being eligible for a scholarship?
No, you had to take the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT), and my parents weren't very cooperative in paying for the test, until just a few weeks ago.
One of my friends got into Philips Exeter by having way too much money and having other kids basically write his applications for him. This sucks man, I hope you can talk them into it, because you seem like you actually deserve it.
