It's not like most movies today where they show five seconds of something and then cut to another angle. They do these long shots, only cutting where necessary. It really shows some skill on the part of the performer that they do these two, three minute cuts; that they can go that long wile making it look effortless.

I understand some scenes where the camera would show with other cameras recording they do this but broadway shows or etc just have a fuckton of cameras all over the place recording
