Doubt it.
Right..
So Petro said that Putin threatened he could invade some places. Sounds like just another lie to garner support/fear of Russians.
Surprise, they were in there the whole time. :v: Kidding.
Yeah they could, they wouldn't stay there long though.
I am not sure about Bucharest, but the others don't seem too unfeasible if he really would use their mechanized capabilities. If there is one thing the russian army is good at, its is moving equipment and troops very fast, it's what they've been training for, for the last 10 years. They might not have the gargantum might of the US defence industry but they sure as hell can move their shit.
How would Russia roll over the Polish army in two days? Or Romania? I don't even think they could take out the Baltics that quickly.
Yeah, and if I had one testicle and a history of doping I'd be Lance Armstrong
Cut him some slack he's Putin up with a lot of shit :(

Two days, that's assuming there's absolutely no resistance at all. He wouldn't be able to rely on ~russian separatist~ support here either because every polish person absolutely hates Russia so it's not like anybody would want to join his side, it's not like Ukraine. [editline]18th September 2014[/editline] Also we have NATO on our side (hopefully)
If no US forces were in Europe, yeah probably. Poland would be tough though, they actually have a military with some teeth.

Like when MH17 went down, within 2 hours of it being confirmed as down the gov instantly blamed Russia, before any confirmation of how it was shot down or when it was shot down with absolutely no evidence. Like when they pulled the whole antisemetic leaflet in donetsk thing to garner international support. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2608486/Grotesque-anti-Semitic-flyer-handed-Jews-Ukraine-fake-aimed-stirring-trouble-discredit-pro-Russians.html Sure they're desperate but take things at face value, they have more to gain from a story like this than putin has to gain by saying them, and putin, malicious and calculating as he is, isn't stupid.
And to think, this all started with protests against laws outlawing protests created by a corrupt president. You could have told what's happening now, last year; and I would call you a fucking loony. I never thought it would devolve this way, honestly. Atleast it had the one good effect of forcing NATO to bolster itself a bit
Time to call R.E.K.T

Russia sure as hell made it easy to blame them
How would Russia roll over the Polish army in two days? Or Romania? I don't even think they could take out the Baltics that quickly.
Consider how long it takes to mobilise troops. An entire army isn't always ready for action at the drop of a hat. There would be a few jets and mechanised units on standby but the majority of the forces would be on leave, in barracks or otherwise not combat ready. Those jets can be tackled by long range AA, the s400 has a range of 400km. Then the Russia's own air supiriority + armour could take out the rest of the ready forces before they are reinforced. Avoid population centers so they don't get bogged down and striking fast means they would probably avoid roadblocks or dug in forces. They would take casualties, lots of them probably and once the rest of Europe mobilises they would be smashed. Its all irrelevant since he won't actually do that. Literally instantly blamed Russia, not the separatists, they actually blamed Russia.
Yeah Vlad, and the NATO retaliation would flatten Moscow.
Also fun fact about the polish military, some of our special forces actually use Desert Eagles :v:
No this was before the buk was even confirmed. I'm talking about before the media reached the wreckage. Literally instantly blamed Russia, not the separatists, they actually blamed Russia.
I'm talking about the reports that started coming out literally minutes after the plane was shot down. The internet already had so much information to find regarding the crash within hours of it happening. The buk launchers on twitter, the posts about shooting down planes prior, and didn't you notice how I put "buk" in quotations? because it wasn't confirmed. I'm just telling you Russia pretty much forced the world to blame them based on the tensions surrounding Ukraine and the treasure trove of information that all pointed towards the Russian separatist being behind the explosion. You can't deny that Russia made it much easier than they had hoped to blame it on them. And at the point they had already invaded Ukraine with unmarked soldiers, so..
Yeah, no. The Russian forces would have no chance of reaching Warsaw in 2 days; they probably wouldn't even be able to reach the border. They would either have to go through 3 NATO-aligned countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania), or try to cross through Belarus. Granted though, I'm not sure Belarus would resist that.

Just so we are clear this is not a discussion about who shot down the plane. A politician blaming another country for what would be an act of war (Russia firing rockets at a civilian plane in ukraine) before he has ANY evidence what-so-ever is irresponsible, dangerous and dishonest. That position has power, responsibility and credibility, you can't just go spouting off shit if it fits your agenda, its just not right because people will believe it and then you are purposefully spreading misinformation. Wait for evidence before doing stuff like that.
Belarus is more likely to assist with troops of its own than to stop Russia.
"what are we doing tonight big brother" "the same thing we do every night belarus, try to take over the world"
Belarus is more likely to assist with troops of its own than to stop Russia.
Belarus has been in bed with Russia forever, it's a surprise they haven't just became one with Russia already.
Doubt it.
He could do it, he would just have to deal with a potential NATO engagement at that point. Russia has a good amount of paratroopers.
I wish putin would just fucking die I'm so sick of this shit
don't make me laugh
