Speaking of your bio-chamber, the blue glow means it's ready to dispense a growth formula! With growth formulas, you can change your appearance and abilities, and even grow new pixels to use. It's highly recommended to collect these whenever you come across one in the wasteland above you.

The bio-chamber dispenses a yellow pickup. The design in the middle signifies that it is a growth formula. Of course, you have no idea what it will do until you consume the contents inside, but the reactions are usually helpful.
