If you look at where they come from it looks like they are seeking asylum BECAUSE the countries they are from would probably kill them for being gay. So, while it makes sense to want and try and prove this and that these people arnt lying and wasting your time, when it comes to homosexuality or even just sexuality you cant really test it.
Its funny you say Uganda because thats one of the country's one of these gay asylum seekers is from.
They should just check how far their asshole stretches.
Should be a decent enough indicator.

Easy, if they show up as a blip on the gaydar then they're homosexual.
Alternatively, check their back pocket for a gay card- most gay men are known to drop these though so it's not a conclusive test unless they own one.
