Today, during a new Nintendo Minute, Capcom community manager Brett Elston revealed that Mega Man Battle Network — released on the GBA in 2001 — will debut in the North American eShop on Wii U starting Thursday, July 31. Pricing details have not yet been announced. (Mega Man Battle Network was recently released in Japan on July 9, 2014, and is scheduled to be released in Europe tomorrow, July 24.
While the two colored Battle Network 3 installments haven’t yet received an release date, Blue Bomber fans can look forward to seeing more classic Capcom goodness make a home on Nintendo’s Virtual Console service in the near future.
Oh look. The best Megaman games.

Megaman 2 and 3 are already on the WiiU though.
GBA Games that would work perfectly for the 3DS being put on the WiiU.
Arg, my heart.

Also DS games.
It would be cool if you could buy gba games on the wii u and transfer them to your 3ds by linking your nintendo account.
I hope they do the whole series. More people need to play them.
Also, this means that Capcom haven't totally forgotten about Mega Man. I hope.
Megaman battle network was the game that my misinformed younger self bought since he played classic and X megaman on his dad's emulator, and was real disappointed. I know it's a case of expecting an orange to be an apple, but oh well.

That means we'll be seeing Megaman Legends 3.
Battle network is pretty dated compared to the other one.
I would have preferred 2 or 3

4, 5, or 6 would be nice too. Hopefully they'll put out the rest later.
Would much rather a collection like they did with Megaman Zero.

As it stands, the handhelds with the most extensive emulation libraries are the PSP ($30-50 used) and Nvidia Shield ($150-160 used), anyway. Might as well get one or the other since Nintendo seems uninterested in putting a very large quantity of GB/GBC/GBA/DS games up for emulation on the eShop.

Well, not 4.
We don't talk about 4.

4 was awfull and 5 was alright-ish. 6 is brilliant and the best one alongside with 2 and 3.
It's a pretty fun series with quite a different style of gameplay that most games don't have, I'd advise people to try it out, preferably the 6th game, it's brilliant.

What was wrong with 4? Been a while since I played them but I don't have bad memories of any of them

Nintendo probably reminded them that it exists. Capcom have made it very clear that they don't want your filthy money unless it's an emulated version of the old games. When listing their pillar franchises they put fucking Lost Planet up and not Megaman.
Meanwhile Mighty Number 9 makes infinite money on Kickstarter.

It was the one with the dark chips and bad story.
5, 6 and 3 are almost certainly the best out of the bunch.

5 was more about dark chips than 4 was.

At least you didnt have to replay the game 3 times, each time upping the difficulty for no reason.
Because fighting alpha, v3, what have you viruses outside of the undernet/secret areas constantly is so much fun.
What the heck, nintendo? Just the other day I was thinking how much I wanted to replay the battle network games... on my 3ds. Why is this wii u? That makes no sense.
If the wii u is getting gba games, how long until the 3ds starts getting gamecube games?

If it was truly that simple, they would have done it by now.
I loved the entire MMBN series, it was amazing to play as a kid. Good plot, okay battle system.
