New thread gogogo, imma make a Toaster.
Here's to high hopes of another good thread.
Needs more content from the last, though. Not just from the last few pages.
There's still time to improve the OP (by adding more content), and please add Hayate's rendered title too.
In other news, I just started doing stuff in RealFlow! :D
Here's a picture of my first ever simulation, a generic "ohmygod-water-down-a-hallway" scene (Still simulating).

I'll post the final animation when it's done!
[editline]11:04PM[/editline]
10 frames remaining.
there's now over 200k particles in the scene.
Ok, I just went through the whole v5 and picked up some pictures along the way, for some reason Hayate's stuff wasn't working but it seems to be now so I added his title and Wildcat.
NOW Imma make a Toaster.
Much better, and have fun with your toaster.
Hello v6! I cannot wait what awesome things this thread will bring to us. :allears:
Just think about the awesome things Facepunch could've prouced if we worked as a single unit.
:saddowns:
ps make hayate's banner the v6 one. It was wonderful

Took me a while to figure out that I had to create a mesh, because I couldn't really render those dots... :v:

Look again, it's the top image.
I never thought something I made would make it to the OP.
Just started rendering the RealFlow test I made.
Probably finished tomorrow.
(Couldn't keep my hands of them fancy materials and motionblur :v:)
[editline]01:25AM[/editline]
What the heck? Every frame takes less than 1 minute even with fancy materials, motionblur, and 720p...
Thank you, i7.

Too many different program users, sure models can go across programs but rigs can't so both the animator(s) and rigger(s) would have to use the same program.
For some reason, the fluid I made in RealFlow doesn't have any motionblurring, unless the camera is moving.
Any fix for this?

I made that and posted it last thread too
not that exact one, same tutorial i meant.

I'd recommend that you render at a higher framerate, and do motionblur in post. I'm assuming it's because it's a mesh that's changing, but the renderer doesn't see it as a moving mesh because the actual thing isn't moving. Basically I'm assuming that motionblur will only work for static meshes. Make sense?
you can use matlab to perform motion blur based on pixel weight.
Updated my last project, now I'm creating a simple sleeping room..

I like this a lot. Wish I had the patience to do my own room, or any room.

Makes sense to me, I'll try what you said instead.
What program does realflow work best with?

Hey guys as you can see there are Maya fluid effects in this render (the black clouds). Currently it's parented to the camera, which is moving through the pipe, following the Police Box.
Is there anyway I can make the fluid effect automatically follow through the pipe? I'm trying to get a 'flying through clouds effect' but it currently just looks like the clouds aren't moving and they're staying on the screen.
What program does realflow work best with?
It works just as good with any program, as it is a standalone program with a tiny plugin for import/export.
Coming along nicely I'd say

With some quick colors. Walls are unwrapped, so I only need some materials
I'll simply not use motionblur this time, but instead I'll be using about 2 million particles! :v:
[editline]o[/editline]
Nevermind, I make changes all the time.
I'll post something though.

Thanks, also, it's not that hard since i'm not modelling super detailed models...

You don't always need super detail for stuff to look good. I like your materials.
[editline]04:25PM[/editline]
Well.. bed materials.
I'd like to start to model a car, what car do you guys recommend for a beginner? And please, no lamborghini.
I thought making a Fast Strike Vehicle was a good way to start car modelling.

Fast Strike Vehicle?
