Realtime? Now that is awesome.
That's really great for a handheld.
Looks kinda like oblivion
Really impressed. Not quite PS3, but beats PS2 by a lot.
I was trying to work out what the big deal was then I realised it was on a handheld. Now THAT is impressive.
Is this the same as the Rage HD engine or whatever it's called?
Is this the same as the Rage HD engine or whatever it's called?
The rage engine is used by Rockstar to make GTA:IV, LA Noire and Red Dead Redemption.
Wow awesome. Shame the PSVita will still flunk though :/
The rage engine is used by Rockstar to make GTA:IV, LA Noire and Red Dead Redemption.
Nope
Graphically for a handheld it looks good. But artistically it looks like utter shit. Who the fuck decided the shaders for this shit. That bridge is like it's coated with fucking silver. What the fuck

Once you've looked at the pretty textures and stuff there's only like 2-3 people on screen at once. Doesn't look like it can do a huge amount of detail.

Doesn't look that good tbh.
it looks like an average console games graphics. but doesnt look like it can handle high poly stuff
What game would that be? Or was it just made for the tech demo?
Looks quite good, especially for a handheld. Does anyone know if there are announced titles yet?
it looks like an average console games graphics. but doesnt look like it can handle high poly stuff
Do you need lots of polies on a handheld? You wouldn't even be able to see them on a screen that big, so having hi-res stuff is pointless.
Do you need lots of polies on a handheld? You wouldn't even be able to see them on a screen that big, so having hi-res stuff is pointless.
The Vita screen is really big and flaming sharp, so we do need hi-res stuff
The Vita screen is really big and flaming sharp, so we do need hi-res stuff
5 inches isn't really big, graphics like the ones shown in the video are enough for that.
5 inches isn't really big, graphics like the ones shown in the video are enough for that.
Just to remind that the screen is razor sharp (Picture quality)
Skyrim on PSVita. Calling it.
Skyrim on PSVita. Calling it.
Morrowind would do it :3:
Amazing for a handheld Microsoft just got fucked. Sony has a bad ass handheld and Nintendo has a new console. What did Microsoft show at E3? COWA DOOTY, HALO, and a few piece of shit kinect games
Not bad for a portable, just wish the textures in the demo didn't scream green though. I mean everything in that demo has a green tint, where are the other colours.
