I know its VNN but he just states facts here and its a pretty significant update.
Why's he releasing a video on this only just now if literally no new info has been released on the subject. Is it just a recap for people unfamiliar? Why do it so late other than to cash in on the clickbait title that isn't even entirely true? C'mon VNN. Stop. Be Better than that. Nothing you stated in this video was new and the title exists only to be eye catching. More accurate would be "potentially in trouble with the Washington State Gov", and even then there's no definite truth to that when we don't know what the response was from the Gambling Committee

Valve released their statement late, and the Washington state government IS forcing them to remove the API.
Did you watch it all? There is new information, this was an update video. "That is where the public story ends for now", after describing valve's response. There has been no further interaction publically between the two since, and no official statement that's legally binding valve to remove the API. At all.
The video is okay till 3:28; after that, it's just VNN listing several points of view and then promoting an item trading site. Overall, it's a poor video. If you're in a hurry but want to know what this is about, just watch till 3:28, then stop; the rest of the video is bs.

Lol VNN I guess I just didn't listen closely enough... You are right, why was this video made???? :what:
Oh....wow. Lol VNN I guess I just didn't listen closely enough... You are right, why was this video made???? :what:
Considering he admits in the video he was sponsored by a csgo skin gambling site to promote it: revenue! What a scumbag.
It's actually kind of sad that people take VNN seriously at all :v:
Considering he admits in the video he was sponsored by a csgo skin gambling site to promote it: revenue! What a scumbag.
christ the irony here
VNN it's shit like this that makes us not like you, especially the sponsorship
VNN it's shit like this that makes us not like you, especially the sponsorship
You say that like he gives a shit. If it wasn't obvious he's just in it for the money, it's pretty clear now.
VNN was starting to really turn around, and then he just gave the fuck up and went back to his old shitty ways
If I pay 15 dollars for CSGO I shouldnt need to pay for keys.
I'm disappointed. A little over a year ago, Tyler was asking for honest feedback and how to improve, so I wrote a thousand+ word response about how I felt about the videos, where he could improve them and some personal advice. He did start getting better, although not without some slip-ups, but it was an improvement. I paid less attention after starting school again, but I saw that most mentions here were positive, that he was slowly getting better. And now he's gone and made this video. Its information was uncharacteristically late, the video delved back into the heavy speculation / non-information habit we didn't like before, and as a slap in the face, it was one giant ad. I really hope this was a one-time thing, I'd be sad if I see anything like this again.
The way he sneaks in these "cs:go site" mentions, with a dull and a non enthusiastic voice is just really cringy.
Person who is sponsored by a CSGO gambling site attacking Valve after they started sending out notices to said websites? Not suspicious at all
Literally who actually gives a shit about the gambling sites. The moral outrage is in vogue or whatever but genuinely, who ACTUALLY cares?
Literally who actually gives a shit about the gambling sites. [editline]8th November 2016[/editline] Because this is exactly the shit CSGO gambling sites did
I don't know like the promotional offer he did, I understand getting the money out of steam however it's not really fair or impartial.
Literally who actually gives a shit about the gambling sites. The moral outrage is in vogue or whatever but genuinely, who ACTUALLY cares?
Because it's foul as shit, it exploits people and their weaknesses, it's been tap-dancing around the law on many occasions and it can be rigged absurdly easily by the site owner leading to false advertisement and claims. Puts simply, in a single word, it's a scam.
people who would rather children aren't exploited for money? [editline]8th November 2016[/editline] Because this is exactly the shit CSGO gambling sites did
But there are so, so many other companies that do that. Games companies, toy producers, hell, even children's movies and all media produced for them. The worst offender is shit like Pokemon go- no moral outrage whatsoever, and it's the same shit.
But there are so, so many other companies that do that. Games companies, toy producers, hell, even children's movies and all media produced for them. Because toy companies, game companies, even fucking nintendo knows that promoting gambling, something that remains god damn illegal in large portions of the wall, to children with no perception of money and feasibly no income is a surefire way to instantly wipe your good reputation and get a rain of lawsuits on your head. I'm not quite sure how sheltered and unaware of the world you'd have to be to even consider targeting children with gambling to be a good idea, let alone an acceptable one.

Cases and Keys are stupid and I wouldn't care if they get removed.
lol
soon these people will grow up and won't even remember thinking like this, so who cares they won't change their mind until they do themselves
