Seems like a nice guy to me. I've had my doubts about whats going on in Syria and same goes for Libya. Hoping the conflict can end peacefully as soon as possible.
He's fucked at this point I highly doubt he'll recover
Seems like a nice guy to me.
Anyone who orders their military to shell civilians and kill reporters is not a nice guy "My people hate me it's all the wests fault"
Anyone who orders their military to shell civilians and kill reporters is not a nice guy
a strong leader with a gentle heart
Anyone who orders their military to shell civilians and kill reporters is not a nice guy "My people hate me it's all the wests fault"
You obviously listen to the whole interview. He wasn't saying that at all. He said that the West and America and Turkey is against him. He made an argument out of saying that if all these powers are against him, and if supposedly his own people are against him, then how is he still here? His people are not against him and this 'civil war' is an insurgency funded and fueled by the west. Frankly if you get off your high horse of what you think he did, and actually LISTEN to the man, he is not the crazy fuck he is made out to be. He is softly spoken, and well versed. But whatever I'm crazy, go back to your CNN.
These rebels need to get the fuck out and assad needs to get the hell out. Syria is destroyed beyond repair if even one side stays the way they are. The military is not even controlled properly anymore, there is no organisation in this whole mess anymore, it's an battlefield of bad guys vs bad guys.

Because I'm pretty sure that even AlJazeera agrees that the rebels are just that, rebels. There may be some terrorists involved, but the people who they interview are genuine rebels fighting for their view of a free Syria. The shelling of civilians is well documented, and now the Syrians have ended their ceasefire with Israel by shelling over the boarder. There have also been a number of Syrian officials who have fled the country and renounced their allegiance. The evidence is pretty heavily stacked to the contrary to what he's saying is all.

I don't think you can complain about western media bias and say Russia Today is fine.
the Syrians have ended their ceasefire with Israel by shelling over the boarder.
As he said, it's not been proved that this was caused by the Army. It may be the rebels trying to bring foreign powers in to the war and do their dirty work. Let the countries involved investigate fully before pointing fingers.
that lady is HOT
Murdering bastard just like his father. Like father like son.

American and Russian interests in Syria are minimal. The only reason Russia continues to support Syria is that cutting and running now would be both an admission of guilt and would permit massive documentation of its role in the area and contribution to the violations to be broadcast to the world. this isn't some cia bullshit. these are the same guys who criticize the united states and western states.

Syria is on the chopping blocks due to its lack of co-operation with the typical American Dollar banking complex. Just like libya with their gold Dinars. Furthermore as far as the "Documented shooting" Yes, the people have been shot, but this man did not order that. Let's suppose for argument's sake that you are a third party that wants to cause tension and violence amongst a group of protesters and police or military. What would you do? This was said in the interview and it is as Machiavellian a tactic as anything. You send in a third party militants that are to fire upon both parties while ambiguously disguised. Read up on your history folks. Wars, usually, if not always, are not what they seem when they are going on. This is the case in WW2 just like it was the case in the french revolution, just like it was the case in lybia. But whatever, the chaps from UN and NATO will tell you all about how bad a guy Assad is. I'm clearly wrong, no point even researching it. [editline]14th November 2012[/editline] WW2 for example, the war was funded on both sides by the same people. http://modernhistoryproject.org/mhp?Article=WallStHitler&C=7#Backers
Lets not talk about North Korea, those people practically live in an Orwellian nightmare.
uh who brought up NK
Syria is on the chopping blocks due to its lack of co-operation with the typical American Dollar banking complex. Just like libya with their gold Dinars.
i would love for you to show me a link that shows some form of private (or shit, I'll make it easier, public) US interest in that state. please elaborate how the "american dollar banking complex" is invested in the area.
Furthermore as far as the "Documented shooting" Yes, the people have been shot, but this man did not order that.
milosevic. he's the head of state and it's going on with his complete complicity. he can (and most likely will, if he's not killed by his own people) be tried in an ad hoc tribunal for his war crimes. http://modernhistoryproject.org/mhp?Article=WallStHitler&C=7#Backers
honey i suggest you do your research and do your reading on history. why? because it's incredibly humorous that you're going to try to implicate the western powers where they aren't doing it, while there's plenty of documented cases of us doing it and you pick the stupid conspiracy bullshit schlock. you should probably pick places where we've actually done it, in central & south america. the world war 2 shit is rumours that come out of the nuremberg trials because of the lack of international jurisdiction at the time and lack of definitions for crimes against humanity the nazis needed to be tried under conspiracy charges instead of genocide. why don't you try citing the numerous US sponsored coup d'etats in latin america like someone who knows what they're talking about [editline]14th November 2012[/editline] just a protip buddy i know more about this than you do, don't be ashamed
I can agree with his sentiments of an election being the best method of representing the Syrians interests but its slightly too late for that
Assad doesn't seem to be that bad/evil of a person, just a horrible leader who let the situation spin horribly out of control.
I assumed he would have a beard and a robe. He seems like a foreign gay-rights activist.
hahahaha it's an interview done by RT HAHAHAHAHAHAH
hahahaha it's an interview done by RT HAHAHAHAHAHAH
I know it's hilarious right?
