• Is two doses of Hydrocodone dangerous?

I'd just like to know, because tonight's weird and everybody's snorting it. [editline]16th April 2011[/editline] Plus I've taken a pill too,and I have no idea what's going on. [editline]16th April 2011[/editline] So would it be dangerous if I had two hydrocodone pills? [editline]16th April 2011[/editline] Wait, I'm sorry guys, that's oxycodone.
Whats "a dose" in milligrams
take three just in case you dont feel it
Most recreational doses for prescription drugs are a good bit larger than the recommended dose. They only exception I can think of is Ambien, and that is because the drug is way funky. You also need to know how much in is in the pill, because a doctor might prescribe a tiny amount for people with low pain, or high amounts for people in a lot of pain. For information about dosing you should go to erowid. http://www.erowid.org/pharms/oxycodone/oxycodone_dose.shtml
take four feel awesome

Two oxyes that have 80mg each would give you some strong overdose.
find what pills youre using. oxy pills will have a number on them corrosponding to the amount of milligrams, from 5 all the way to 80 However if you "just take two" you could end up having 160mg and overdosing. Dont think oxys are safe just because theyre prescription. Theyre very strong opiates, so find the dosage and be very careful. Especially since youre snorting it, it will hit you harder. Go check on erowid.
The fact that you don't know anything about what you're doing should tell you that you should NOT be fucking with pharmaceuticals, especially oxycodone. For your own safety I'd say don't do anymore unless you find out what the dose is. Do you have tolerance? Are you popping them? Snorting them? There's variables.
COLD WATER EXTRACTION HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT PEOPLE
It makes me facepalm when people are snorting opiate pills with APAP around me. Every time I try to say something about it to this one friend of mine he gets all pissed and is all "LET ME DO MY OWN THING MAN" Another thing I don't get is why people think that oxycodone is so dangerous as compared to hydrocodone. If you're taking the same dosage in milligrams, oxy isn't that much more potent than hydro. Lastly, depending on the pill you'll probably be good with two....
COLD WATER EXTRACTION HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT PEOPLE
If he's having like <2 grams of APAP to get high, there's no point really. Unless you mean for snorting, that is.
A textbook answer would be that taking anything above the recommended dose is dangerous. Reality is the only real danger in a double or triple dose would be the acetaminophen that's mixed in it for some dumbass reason. The thing you do have to worry about, even with pure hydrocodone is that it is a CNS depressant and also directly affects the vagus nerve. In simple terms, the vagus nerve is linked to the heart and helps regulate the heart rhythm. By affecting the CNS, you will experience a decreased respiratory drive and you might even become hypoxic due to lack of O2 intake. Oxycodone is pretty much similar. Like hydrocodone, you still have to worry if they mix it with acetaminophen, which I would never take more than 800mg of that shit a day, or even a week. That stuff is so toxic to the liver, I wonder why it's still over-the-counter. For oxy, I would start off with one pill, depending on the dose and work yourself up from there, giving about 30 minutes between each pill. To be forewarned, some people have died on 40mgs, while others can take over 120mgs with no problem. It depends on your weight and health. Your heart can take a pretty nice punch from a high dose, so be careful.

I rarely say stuff... but like I said- he's my friend and I'm not gonna sit there and watch him repeatedly put acetaminophen up his nose without saying something. You can already see his septum fucking up.
he probably gets pissed cause you won't shut up about it. if they say no the first time then shut up dude, lol
What I never understood is why people get mad about other people being concerned for themselves (the person getting mad at the friend for being concerned) or a person getting mad about someone being vocally concerned about their friend. It's called being a good friend. Being a shitty friend is not saying shit to them when they do something that can destroy their life. In fact, that's not only being a bad friend, but being a bad person. If you think it's right to ignore the potentially dangerous activities your friends do, then you're a bad friend and a bad person. I tell my friends all the time not to do something stupid, and then scold them if they do it anyway. They may dislike it, but they've told me that it means a lot that I actually care about them. Most of the time, they respect what I say and they don't do it, because they care about what I have to say. That is what friendship is about. If your friends don't give a shit what you have to say, then they obviously don't give a shit about you and you can stop deluding yourself and calling them your friend. If one of your best friends was doing something fucking stupid that you strongly feel will either kill them or disable them, would you say anything? From the sound of your response, it seems like you wouldn't. How would you feel if your best friend died that way, and then a family member came up to you and said that the friend, "Really cared about you... I know if you spoke to them and tried to talk them out of doing whatever, they would have never died..." How would that make you feel? How would you feel knowing you could have prevented a death but you didn't because you're too much of an arrogant jerk to say anything?
Because they're ruining the fun, it might be the right thing to do but you're still a buzzkill.
Foodstuffs wasn't saying not to say anything, he was saying that if they don't listen to you after the first time just to drop it.
I know exactly what he said. What I'm saying is that telling someone to do or not to do something one time is not going to do jack shit. How many times do you have to confront someone who is a non-productive druggie to stop their habits and destroying their life? More than one fucking time. Why? Because the first time they will make a lame-ass excuse how it's not harming anyone. You then have to tell them again, this time being more coercive and show them how it is harming them. Hell, the more you care, the more you need to try. Lets say you're doing an activity you really enjoy, whatever that may be. Your parent then comes up to you and asks you, "have you started on your homework/found a job/when are you moving out?" or something like that. What is your response? "I'm gonna do it later..." Do you ever actually "do it later?" or do your parents need to "remind you" again? How many times did they have to remind you before you actually did what they asked?
let people be stupid but next time that you buy pills with YOUR money and treat your friends to them, make them do it the safe way or prepare it ahead of time, maybe you will convince them!
let people be stupid but next time that you buy pills with YOUR money and treat your friends to them, make them do it the safe way or prepare it ahead of time, maybe you will convince them!
It's like no one gives a shit about their friends. I honestly don't understand. Maybe this is why people who do drugs are looked at like they are the scum of society. Maybe the masses are on to something. It seems like none of you all give two shits about anyone but yourselves. The thing is, I know that to be wrong. How do I know this? Because there are hundreds, if not thousands of forums out there dedicated to proper and safe drug use. I know that the community cares more about others than the few outliers make it seem otherwise. Hell, in my eyes, the best use of this sub-forum is to promote safe drug use. Not encouraging others to try this super awesome-but-risky method of ingesting a drug. As doe me, I'm not going to let my friends be stupid and destroy their lives. I don't care if they just blew 1000 bucks to get fucked up on this new shit that their dealer just sold them. If I know that shit is dangerous, I'd fucking tell them. If they didn't listen, I'd actually get more friends to convince them. If that didn't work, I'd fucking call a help line.

So in my opinion telling people something all the time is ineffective and doesn't work. [editline]17th April 2011[/editline] And also, if someone doesn't care if what they are taking has a risk that they will die, I wouldn't really try and stop them, Its a risk they are willing to take.
Oh god! Lol. I saw the thread title and I just got sick thinking about snorting hydrocodone. Nastiest opioid to snort, plus it's got acetaminophen or sometimes ibuprofen in it, which you should never snort. Oxy's are good though. I love the taste.
P.s to all the noobies coldwater extraction gives you near pure hydrocodone SOMEONE MAKE A THREAD FOR ME I'M ON MY PHONE PLZ
So I've had kidney stones for about a week now, and I've been trying to CWE my tabs that they've given me. For some reason they don't dissolve completely in the water and it seems like there's way less stuff that gets caught than usual. Are there any type of generic hydro/aceto tabs that don't work with CWE?
i think you have to filter it
I just took 10 5/325 percocets, and Im about to have a glass of my parents shitty boxed wine to kick up the buzz cause I dont have any xanax.
i think you have to filter it
I did. Hence 'there's way less stuff that gets caught than usual' I mean filtered.
Foodstuffs wasn't saying not to say anything, he was saying that if they don't listen to you after the first time just to drop it.
that's exactly what i meant. if they don't give a fuck about your advice chances are you're just going to achieve nothing more than annoying them with telling them once more
I just took 10 5/325 percocets, and Im about to have a glass of my parents shitty boxed wine to kick up the buzz cause I dont have any xanax.
That's 3.25 grams of acetaminophen. That shit will destroy your liver. Especially with alcohol. What the fuck.
"Really cared about you... I know if you spoke to them and tried to talk them out of doing whatever, they would have never died..."
I don't think that would be the right thing to say in the event of an fatal overdose on anybody's part. I guess that's a nice way of saying, "You are the only one who could have prevented it, therefore it's all your fault."
