Yes I remember few memorial threads. And probably more have died than we know of.
One guy had his heart stopped because it was beating out of control, but that's the closest I witnessed. You'd have to have a pretty miserable fuck existence to specify in your will "please tell facepunch I died. :(".

I know my dad was technically dead for around 4 hours during a heart operation. Of course, he was plugged in to an iron lung, or whatever they use to keep you alive when they're working on the heart.
That would be an artificial heart I guess, since a lung isn't of much use to replace a heart.
Also, the iron lung is not to be confused with a rebreather.

Why does the OP want to know that anyway? Dead people aren't so interesting. Go to a graveyard, there are tons of them. :rolleye:
Apart of that I don't know of somebody "famous" who died yet, maybe I just missed out.
